Platform for Adds

I was excited to receive the a new Kindle, even if it was the previous generation. It has very nice features for parental controls but the preloaded advertisments are so annoying I don't like using the Kindle. Advertisments show up on the entry screen and at the bottom of each screen. For $15 Kindle will remove the advertisements. I shouldn't have to pay to have something removed I didn't want in the first place.
This is really upsetting and makes me scrutnize any future purchases from Best Buy.com.
What's great about it: Nothing yet
What's not so great: Preloaded with advertisments
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
