MacBook Air features up to 8GB of memory, a fifth-generation Intel Core processor, Thunderbolt 2, great built-in apps, and all-day battery life.1 Its thin, light, and durable enough to take everywhere you go-and powerful enough to do everything once you get there, better.

Best Laptop I've EVER owned

Purchased one in 2012. Never used a Mac before this one. Transition was relatively seamless. Laptop is now 5 years old and would likely smoke any other PC or Windows based laptop. It's a beautiful thing to flip open the screen and start working within seconds versus watching the PC wheel spin round and round. I purchased one for my wife in 2016 and she loves it as well. Yeah... they cost more but they are worth every cent!!!

Outstanding remote

Received as a gift in May '11 from an out of town friend (was a Christmas gift). Up to this point, I was unable to find a universal remote that would match up to my Insignia NS-5101HD Surround Receiver. While setting this remote up on line with all of my components, it initially did not recognize this receiver. To my surprise, this thing is smart enough to copy the signals from the receiver's remote control by pointing the remote at the Harmony 700 and clicking a few buttons! Unbelievable! The remote works great with all of my entertainment components. Note: The remote's screen would not display anything. I contacted Logitech about the problem and they sent me a new one without any hassle. Ofcourse, the new one synced up fine and is great. If I could give this a higher rating, I would.
What's great about it: It's really universal... and smart!
What's not so great: Nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!
