Amazing tv with all the features you need

I have been overdue on upgrading my tv for a while, my last I got about four to five years ago. It still had very good picture quality and functioned just fine, but it was behind on several features for gaming and wasn’t as advanced as the newer tvs were.
Honestly I was getting tired of playing games on it I didn’t feel like it was giving me any oomph.
So initially I was hesitant when I got the new hisense u8 tv that it would be any different, but about 20 minutes after setting up I realized I was very wrong and I was so happy about it.
Let me start with this the brightness helps make everything pop and seem so vibrant especially playing games in HDR it just popped off the screen movies looked great. My previous tv was also a mini led and there is very minimal blooming on this one even in a dark room didn’t notice much.
Having access to the higher refresh rate also made gaming so much better without having to sacrifice the resolution.
I haven’t always been a big supporter of Google tv but it has come along way and it’s very easy to navigate and access everything quickly and easily. Very nice and easy to use remote control also helps.
And the last thing I want to talk about is the sound, this may be the best sounding tv I have every used it has several speakers and subwoofer built in which sounds great, is it as good as dedicated sound system no but for a tv it’s leaps and bounds better than anything else.

Great Laptop that almost hits all the marks

Let me start with this for me this laptop was so close to perfect the performance the design were incredible but I was let down by one thing and that was one of the most glaring things on the laptop the screen. Two issues for me they are no way deal breakers but they keep it from scoring a 5 star. The glare when there is bright lights can be a bit tough but that mainly happens because it’s not that bright. In low light the screen looks great the colors are on point and it has enough brightness but during the day or around bright lights the screen just isn’t bright enough to enjoy.
Now that is out of the way let me talk about all the good. The design is great so simple yet so elegant plenty for space on the keyboard and has good area to rest your wrists as you type and the mousepad works incredibly well.
Performance is also really good any task I threw at it handled pretty well even did some light gaming granted the fans really kick on if your playing an intense game but I was able to pay some modern games with decent graphics settings.
The screen while a bit too dim for me does look really god color accuracy is great and the speakers are very good and can get pretty decently loud.
All in all this is the total package for a laptop it has great battery life a great design and for the most part a great looking screen. I definitely recommend this laptop if your looking for something for work slash media consumption

Great SSD for PS5

There are so many choices when it comes to SSD for your pc or in my case my ps5 but I was looking for something to give me good performance and good storage size. In comes crucial with this SSD, after installing it which on the ps5 is incredibly easy I booted up my system formatted my hard drive and then was off and running.
The speeds were great for my ps5 I saw virtually no difference between my external and the built in SSD.

Having all that extra space was great especially with how big some games have gotten(yeah I’m looking at you Call Of Duty) with games being so big nowadays it was nice having all this extra space and not having to worry about doing that game where I have to figure out and decide which games I need to remove off my system.
This is a great drive looks great seems to be made of high quality material and runs amazingly well.
The value of these drives are immeasurable having that extra space is a lifesaver in many instances.
And especially since I have several kids that also use the PlayStation it’s nice they can download games they want to play and not have to worry about the lack of space. Highly recommended especially for ps5

Great air fryer to cook everything

Let me start with this I have used many air fryers over the years, and there have been good ones and there have been bad ones but they have always all worked but to varying degrees. This is the first Air fryer I have used that is a little more toaster oven style and it has taken more adjusting that I thought it would.
So let me start with the only somewhat con I have with this air fryer and that is you have to adjust your heat much lower than previous ones. This thing heats up and cooks the food much faster and stronger than any air fryer I have had before.
But it can handle anything I throw at it, cooking meat, potatoes making French fried even baking. The rotisserie mode is pretty awesome. You definitely have to watch the temp on that mode or you will dry out the meat.
All of it has cooked to perfection. I love the personal size pizza tray getting some personal pizza and cooking them and coming out absolutely perfect and not have to use my oven for it is amazing.
This air fryer is a thing of beauty it does take some getting used to.

Easy to use, powerful and cleans extremely well

The first thing I want to say is we try to do a good job of keeping our carpets in our bedroom as clean as possible. No shoes no food in the rooms, we vacuum pretty often. Even with all that being said I was shocked I mean utterly shocked with how dark and how much crud the shark picked up.
The first I noticed after putting everything together was how easy it was to set up and to prepare to clean all I did was fill the tank with warm water and added the shampoo cleaner. After that is was off and running, it very much feels like a vacuum but it definitely has a lot of power. The hose attachment works great and was so great at cleaning the arms on the couch and getting all the crud my kids had gotten on it.
We have a dog so using the attachments to get hair and dirt out of tough corners or hard to reach places was so easy. The suction in the vacuum is very strong and picks up so much. I was shocked how much it picked even after I had vacuumed a couple of times before using the cleaner.
It’s so incredibly easy to use and works so well this is an easy recommendation from me.

Amazing case for an aamaing tablet

Apple please take note of what Logitech has been doing with this case for the iPad. Do not get me wrong the case Apple makes is very sleek and works well. But its utility is not as good as Logitech’s. The biggest thing is that it keeps the iPad from being an iPad and keeps it as a laptop style device. Here with the Logitech case you are getting both.
A great keyboard with al the controls you can ask for and a great case that works everywhere. Together you get what I think is the best case for an iPad period.
The only downside to me as I prefer the material they used in the previous version the soft touch material while feeling great shows fingerprints like no ones business. Besides that everything about the case is great the feel the weight the touchpad works great and is nice and large the top row of functions buttons are the best. Having a case when it allows me to use my iPad like a laptop when I need to do work or type responses to email and when I just want to use it like an iPad to watch some tv I can detach the keyboard and everything else still works.

Improved In the Best Ways.

When handheld PCs first started coming out I was a bit skeptical about them, at that point there was another company who had switched to his form factor and they were by far the most advanced and well set up, but there was one issue battery life and power. Those were also the big issues with the windows PC's. ASUS first go around with the ROG Ally did solve the problem with power and that machine was great.
The first Ally did a lot of good things, it had a really good screen good speakers and good power to run the games you wanted to play. It did have several downsides thought battery life was not good to put it lightly, ergonomics were ok but it did fatigue over time and you can def feel the heat if you used for a good chunk of time. Software was ok but that has more to do with Windows as a whole than the Ally in particular.
The first Ally did a lot of good things, it had a really good screen good speakers and good power to run the games you wanted to play. The Ally X is a good step up and sometimes feels like what the original Ally should have been. Battery life is greatly improved ergonomics and heat dissipation is much better and though it is slightly heavier it was much more comfortable for me to use for long periods of times. The biggest upgrade for me though was adding a second usb c port to the system. I know this seems like a small thing but it became so much easier to plug my system in and be able to use a hub to connect like a keyboard and mouse and even a monitor to the system with the second port.
I had a blast using the system and be able to take my gaming sessions to other rooms whether playing Diablo 4 or Destiny it was great to have this system on the go with me.
Now there are a couple of knocks that keep it from getting 5 stars the first is software. Asus has done a great job with Armory Crate to try and put a good UX/UI but at the end of the day it is a pc and you have to deal with all of the PC issues, this can be frustrating for someone especially if they do not have a lot of experience playing games on a PC. The second is the battery life, do not get me wrong it is greatly improved but it is still not long enough to take on a cross country flight or very long car ride without having to charge it up.
But these issues aside, I am having a blast and would recommend anyone that wants to play their games on the go to get a ROG Ally X as it is the best by far I have used.

Great phones case with great stand

For me personally there are a couple of things I look for when I get a case for my phone. The first is comfort case has to be comfortable I’m using an iPhone pro max so I don’t want a case that make this already big phone that much bigger. The other two are looks I want something that has some style but doesn’t look like a toy or too gaudy. And the last is if it has any utility features. I had a very thin torras case for my iPhone before getting this one. It did not have any extra features but it was thin and looked good. I was very intrigued by this case though I was a little concerned how much bulkiness the case would add.
To my delight and surprise for the amount of protection you get it does not add much bulkiness at all and the material feels good in your hand. It also has a great look with the clear plastic and dark silver accents on the ring and around the case.
The ring is great, I am wondering if the tension will hold up over a long period of time but I have been using for a couple of weeks and so far it has not lost any tension.
Overall this is a great phone case another hit by torras they keep making quality cases for the iPhone highly recommend.

Almost there great hardware held back by software

The Philips Hue Security Camera is very high quality and does a good job with its video quality, its just let down by its software.
Overall the camera has good video and works as intended which is a good thing, its software is the thing that is the big letdown and setting it up is not as intuitive as you would think. It does have excellent battery life if you are using it correctly which is a bit different than the competitors, but its differences does offer something a bit unique compared to the others.

Let me start with the setup, unboxing the camera there is not much in the box a charging cable, the camera, the mount and some paperwork. Downloading the app and getting the camera all setup was a breeze took about 10 minutes.
understanding the app took a little bit more time the camera has essentially two settings there is the armed setting which you get two armed options home and away, these armed options are what allow you to get notifications of movement it can also sound a siren or turn any connected Philips lights on if needed.
The other setting is technically just called unarmed and your camera is basically in sleep mode, you can turn on your camera to take a look at it but you will not get any notifications from the camera in this mode.
My Camera is setup on the back door of my house, so naturally I would want it armed all the time, not much movement happens in the back of my house so it should not go off all the time but the battery drains much faster wen it is armed. I dropped a good amount of battery in just 24 hours leaving it armed. and realized that I would have to unarm it during the day and arm it at night because the battery was draining faster than i would like.
the battery is not removable so i have to remove the camera from the mount to charge, which is a bit inconvenient as I have to remove charge the take the time to re adjust camera to get correct angle again.
The camera works really well once its armed and ready to go. Its very fast as I tested it out notifications came very quick I even tested it out of my house and got notifications pretty quickly.
overall the camera is very good the video quality is outstanding and performance so far has been excellent. I think if Philips can tighten up the software this would be a 5 star camera all day.

A great headset for console players

It’s an odd thing to say but when you have these staggered release of product lines for headset you can end up with the lower tier ones sometimes sounding better than the next tier in your lineup.
This is the case with the Steelseries Arctis Nova 5.
Especially if your playing on console the Nova 5 is better sounding and more convenient that the 7.
Now the build materials and quality of the headset is better made on the 7 but I don’t see any reason why the 5 would not last you a long time.

The new mobile app is a godsend for console players as now you have quick access to tune your sound to your liking on the fly. With the other Nova headset you would have to connect your headset to a PC mess around with the setting save it then plug it in to your console see if that works if not go back to your PC and do it again.
Not to mention you now have a full parametric EQ to tune the headset however you like. I was incredibly surprised how well they sounded and how well they took EQ.

Build quality is pretty good, everything is plastic so the headset is very light. Clamp force is a little tight but I like that better than the very light clamp force the Nova 7 has.
Overalll I could not recommend these headset more to anyone. They sound amazing are incredibly easy to use and tune. They also work on so many devices I was able to put the receiver in my iPad and iPhone and it worked and sounded great. I could just move the dongle around and it would just work which is amazing.
Steelseries knocked it out of the park with this headset.
