modem maximizes my streaming experience

I was asked by Linksys to give my honest opinion of the CM3024 modem in return for a free sample of this product. I have always used Linksys routers with positive results and was interested in seeing if their modems would provide similar performance. I wasn't disappointed. Setup was easy, I only had to call my ISP (Charter) and give them the modem's MAC address after I had swapped out the modems (a simple plug and play exchange). The biggest difference I have seen is in streaming Netflix to my TV. Screen freeze ups and buffering issues are a thing of the past. This modem maximizes my streaming experience.

Audiophile quality for your computer

I've been considering the Klipsch system for several months (the reviews here were very helpful) and finally took the plunge and bought a set while they were on sale. I consider myself to be an audiophile and expect a somewhat high level of sound quality from my home stereo, home theater, and computer. The Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 delivers this in spades. The satellites are larger than the Dell Harman Kardon speakers I replaced. They produce clean, clear mids and treble with an excellent soundstage. They integrate seamlessly with the true star of this outfit: the most excellent sub. No muddy, one-note bass from this powerhouse. With powerful, yet controlled bass the sub provides a rock solid foundation for the satellites to add layer upon layer of mids and highs for a full range sound. The right side satellite has rotary adjustments for main volume and subwoofer levels giving you the capability to customize the sound to your preference. All three speakers have a quality-built feel to them. Be aware they aren't small, this is a system that provides very few compromises and is built with both the size and heft needed to provide said audio performance. The only fault I can find with the system is the lack of an on/off switch. I unplug mine from the power strip when I shut down the computer. A small price to pay for audio bliss! Highly recommended!
