Good for just getting directions

Work well for basic GPS services.
The 255 is easy to program locations.
The Maps and screen are good size and easy to follow.
The 255 will not connect to my Iphone thru the blue tooth
People wilth large hand may have trouble pushing letters on the screen

What's great about it: easy to program
What's not so great: Will not sync with cell phone
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
