Great movie, check it out

This is a great action/suspense/drama movie. It takes a little while for things to get going but once they do... watch out. Full of intrigue and drama, this one is great for repeat viewings. This is from David Fincher and I am a fan of his work.

One of Jim Carey's best

This is one of the best Jim Carey movies that he ever made. It's funny but it's not for kids. I think it's one of his last truely funny movies.

Great movie, looks amazing

This is a great movie that ties in with the original Monsters, Inc. I recommend you pick it up to compliment that movie. It's nice that Pixar did a prequel instead of just another sequel. This movie is extremely colorful, creative, and detailed. The story isn't as touching as Monsters, Inc. though.

Great Sequel

This is a nice sequel to the origional KFP that will satisfy most viewers. It is even more colorful and brilliant than the first visually, but perhaps not quite as funny. Overall a great movie and a solid offering from Dreamworks.

Great Thriller/Suspense movie

This movie can be hard to watch at times, because it is so graphic. But it's a masterfully crafted thriller featuring solid performances from Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, Gwyneth Paltro, and Kevin Spacey. All star cast, and directed by David Fincher.

What's not so great: DVD had more special features

Best Dreamworks movie

This is easily Dreamworks best movie. It has a nice message, great graphics and animation, thunderous and exciting sound, and fun characters. The voice acting is top-notch.

One of the best Pixar movies

This is easily one of the greatest Pixar movies ever made. It's fun and creative, and the plot really touches your heart. Underneath the story of a monster and a little girl, there is a deeper message about stereotypes, acceptance, and love. Get this movie!

Good movie, my kid LOVES it

This movie is fun and colorful and my 2-year old son loves it. The plot is a recycled, dumbed down version of Cars basically. This is not a great Pixar movie, it's a "B Team" version done by Disney animation. That being said, your kids may love this movie enough for you to consider purchasing it.

I feel like this movie is underrated. The acting is good, the cinematography is excellent, the music is great, and the story is compelling. I actually prefer this movie to Braveheart. The picture quality on this Blu-ray disc release is very well done. The audio quality is also good. There is nothing special about the special features or packaging, but if you can find this at a decent price it's well worth it. If you've never seen "the Patriot" maybe it's time you checked it out.
What's great about it: Well crafted and looks great
What's not so great: Some didn't like the plot so much, some violence
I would recommend this to a friend!
