George P. Cosmatos directed Sylvester Stallone in the action film Cobra. The movie comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. An English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, a French soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround, and Spanish and English soundtracks are available in Dolby Digital Mono. There are no subtitles on the disc, but the English 5.1 track is closed-captioned. Supplemental materials include a commentary track recorded by the director, seven different trailers, and production notes. This low-priced DVD will please fans of the film.
