I am definitely what you would call a hardcore A7X fan. I have listened to them since the release of Sounding the Seventh Trumpet when I was 8 years old. My favorite album is Waking the Fallen by far.
Now for the review. I honestly think the closest sounding album to this they have done is Diamonds in the Rough. It reminds me of that album the most. There is elements of self-titled and City of Evil though. Honestly, I hate City of Evil. I think it is probably their worst album, but the album "Nightmare" definitely has a lot of similar qualities to it.
This is a great album if you love Avenged Sevenfold. If you like City of Evil or Self-titled then you should definitely pick this one up. The run time is over 60 minutes, so you get your money's worth.
I rate this an excellent when comparing it to all types of music out there, but for Avenged Sevenfold I would give it a 4/5. It's not as amazing as their Self-Titled album or Waking the Fallen to me, but it's definitely a great album.
What's great about it: Quality sound, Sounds like Avenged Sevenfold, Great Lyrics
