What does the American Dream mean today? For Niko Bellic, fresh off the boat from Europe, it is the hope he can escape his past. For his cousin, Roman, it is the vision that together they can find fortune in Liberty City, gateway to the land of opportunity. As they slip into debt and are dragged into a criminal underworld by a series of shysters, thieves and sociopaths, they discover that the reality is very different from the dream. In a city that worships money and status, life is heaven for those who prosper and a living nightmare for those who don't. Developed by the superstar designers at Rockstar North, Grand Theft Auto IV continues the exciting legacy of the Grand Theft Auto franchise.

For an open world shooting game, this has an incredible and compelling story. The game includes all kinds of incredible features. The conversations while driving with a NPC is something to see. If you enjoy open world games, then this is for you.
The online is something to behold. The entire world can be open to you an other players for various game modes. This is definitely a must have game for any person with a PS3.
What's great about it: Good story, make own choices, open world online
What's not so great: single player becomes boring once story is done
I would recommend this to a friend!

See if he can enter enemy territory undetected amidst the chaos of battle. Should Snake fail in his final mission, civilization will pay a terrible price: world domination.Combine stealth, strategy and combat to achieve your goals. Know when to aid local militia in the fight and when to let the battle rage on so you can use the chaos as cover. As you infiltrate enemy territory, don the OctoCamo stealth suit to match seamlessly with your environments. You can also rely on your contact, Otacon, to give you the new Mk. II reconnaissance tool as well as the Solid Eye, which provides vital stats on enemies and your surroundings. Visit Drebin on the black market and trade for bigger, badder weapons. The more you trade, the more custom weapons and modifications you'll unlock. Once you have the firepower, feel free to unleash it on waves of invading PMC soldiers.

Game of the Year

I've been playing video games since about '94 and this is easily one of my favorite games of all time, if not the favorite. The inclusion of Octocamo creates a game play experience that has never been seen before. The story is the completion of solid snakes adventures, which began on the MSX2 in 87. You can feel how big and long coming the game is while playing.
The online component is basically a stand alone game. A DLC package was released on July 17th, making Metal Gear Online even more appealing. The teamwork that can be used in this game is unlike anything ever experienced. Linking up with other players through the SOP system is very fun and the skills that you player can increase through the game individualizes each player.
If you're a fun of good stories (maybe confusing for some), replayability, new features never before seen, and a great online component then this game is for you.
What's great about it: Outstanding story, unparralleled online, replayable
What's not so great: cutscenes may deter new comers
I would recommend this to a friend!
