I bought this surge protector out of necessity, grabbed it off the shelf and into my cart based on the price, without paying much attention to it. If I could do it again, I'd have purchased a different one.. Don't get me wrong, it works great, but the plugs are set into the base in a way that if you have the larger boxy plugs for any of your devices, you can only plug 2 or 3 devices in at a time... it has slots for 6 plugs, but the only way you can plug 6 things in at once is if they are all standard sized plugs, but most cell phones, stereos, printers, etc, use larger plugs with a big box that covers more than one outlet, which doesn't leave room to plug anything else in! I'm constantly having to switch plugs around to make all my devices fit. Grrr!
What's great about it: Nice protection, good price
What's not so great: bad design, only fits 6 standard plugs
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
