Inexpensive, poor lifespan

I purchased these batteries about a year ago, if my memory serves me well. At first, they seemed to work well enough to power digital cameras and game controllers. Over time, it is evident that they don't store well in comparison to name brand batteries. All in all, if you're in a bind or need a quick fix, these will work. But don't expect to stock up.

Great concept, frustrating performance

Compatible with...:PC
I've had this hard drive for quite some time now and it really is a fantastic idea. Being able to back up all of your devices or media to one hard drive on the network is convenient and being able to access your files remotely from a phone or tablet or computer is even better.
That being said, apart from backing up the computers, this device has been one of the most frustrating electronics purchases simply because of the software. It will freeze or crash when you try to pull backup data off of the drive and restarts over and over again.
If it was one particular computer having trouble with the software or a certain install it would be less frustrating. But I've used this on over four computers, uninstalled, reinstalled, and run updates. I'm writing this on my brand new Windows 8 laptop with all updates already performed and there's still problems pulling files from my backup from another PC.
The restarting is annoying because you receive an e-mail /every/ time it does so (I have 20+ sitting in my inbox just from the last month or two) and if you're pulling data off of it you have to start all over again. It disconnects on basic transfers too, particularly if it's a lot of data (there have been times I've moved segments or certain folders across just because if I did multiples it would crash).
Final verdict: Great idea, it's awesome to tap into my comics or music or school files remotely. Convenient automatic backup. Very frustrating software and limited recovery functionality... which is kind of the whole point of a backup drive.)
My Best Buy number: 2694137680
What's great about it: Backs up computers and photos easily, can tap in over web to view files securely
What's not so great: The software is horrible - constant crashes, resets, freezing and errors
I would recommend this to a friend!

Howard Shore delivers another masterpiece
on December 18, 2012

Howard Shore is one of my favorite composers and I continually listen to the Lord of the Rings trilogy soundtracks. A movie has many components that make it successful, but in my opinion it is truly a masterpiece when it has a carefully crafted soundtrack.
I love how they bring back recurring themes from the first three Lord of the Rings movies. Yet, even though some parts are completely recognizable, these themes are filled with subtle differences. "Misty Mountains" in particular is a powerful track that is filled with wonder and adventure. "The Adventure Begins" builds excitement and has playful elements.
Overall, I really enjoyed the soundtrack and will continue to follow Howard Shore's music. The only downside to the soundtrack is that it is expensive. You can find it for download about half of what it goes for on CD. eMusic is a great place to look for downloads if you don't want it on a disc.
What's great about it: Mixing new, incredible themes with recurring Lord of the Rings Trilogy music. Very whimsical and powerful.
What's not so great: Price is pretty steep.

Stunning sound quality and thumping bass
on November 27, 2011
Posted by: YourStevieBoy
I got the Klipsch speaker system while it was on sale a few months ago. At the time, I had a limited budget and was torn between getting a 2.1 set of Insignia speakers or Logitech for my desktop computer. My brother urged me to take it a step up when he saw my admiration for the Klipsch. Probably the best call I could have made.
I listen to a wide variety of music. My favorite styles are rock and hip hop and I like it loud with a big kick on the bass. The subwoofer blew me away! Even with the dedicated bass dial turned halfway (Logitech and Insignia did not have the dedicated dial) it thumps. My words can't do it justice.
In addition to a large collection of loud music, I wanted to stream Netflix, CinemaNow, and some other movies on the PC. It's made watching my tv shows and movies a real treat.
I can't recommend it enough, whether or not it's on sale. I use it daily and it has quite possibly been the best investment in electronics I've ever made. And I mean that very seriously.
One thing I will point out, however, and is the only real con in my opinion... it really is best to use with a PC. I tried hooking it up to a tv for movie night and it wasn't quite the same experience and there was a bit of static/other problems. Klipsch has some really nice home theater systems I would recommend instead if you need something for your tv. I note this in particular for larger rooms.
What's great about it: Best bass on 2.1 systems I have found, beats out BOSE
What's not so great: Nothing, really. Just be advised that it works best with a computer.

If you're going to say something does not work as advertised or does not work properly your review would be far more helpful to people if you explained in detail.
How did it not work properly? Did it have bad video quality? Does the microphone not pick up audio worth a hoot? Does the camera look gray instead of black on its plastic casing? There are so many directions you can go with "not as advertised."

Underwater camera

What underwater cameras can post pictures directly to Facebook?
In most instances, a camera that can take underwater photos cannot post directly to Facebook from the camera itself.

Even if that camera has wireless connectivity (WiFi), you'll need to pair it up with a smartphone or a tablet that has your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other apps on the portable device. Then, you can transfer images from your wireless camera over to the phone or tablet and upload it to the internet from there.

A lot of underwater cameras like the Nikon AW120 (higher megapixel, better low light quality), the HTC Re (super compact, ergonomic and fun design for everyday photos and videos), or even the GoPro and action camcorders (durable and great video quality) will have WiFi connectivity and open up a lot of possibilities.

If you have to have a camera that can post online directly, check out Samsung products and Nikon products. But I'm not sure how many are waterproof.

Hope that helps!

Time Warner said you would recommend a modem for my internet connection.

Your local Best Buy store should have several options available for cable modems and wireless routers (or a combo unit, saving you some space).

There are different brands available, and with Timer Warner Cable you should be able to use any cable modem, but I'll attach a couple of cable modems so you'll have some ideas.

Do you carry Dell Battery T54FJ in a store in Houston, Texas

Most Best Buy locations won't have cell phone or laptop batteries available on the shelf, but you can order your battery here on BestBuy.com or set a store pickup from in-store. (To order your battery online just key in "Battery" into search and it will take you to a battery finder tool.)
