Great Historical Movie

This was another movie I had been looking for for years. Found this one in the $9.99 Savestation, so I couldn't pass it up.
I loved Matthew Broderick's work in this movie. This is a great Civil War movie about a white commander of black soldiers. I think the most poignant scene of the movie is how one white soldier in particular comes to respect his African-American counterpart during battle.
If you appreciate historical movies, look no further than this movie.

A Must for any UFC Fan!

I couldn't believe I found this in the $7.99 bin, especially at checkout when it scanned for $5.99. You get 25 full-length fights from 2013, including some of the greatest fights in UFC history.
This one is a must for anyone who considers themselves a fan of MMA, especially the UFC.

Finally, I found this!

In the interests of full disclosure, I bought this for Bloodsport (have never seen Timecop). It is one of my favorite old school JCVD movies and have been looking for this one for years. I found this one in the $7.99 bin, so I snapped this one up immediately.
The transfer isn't freakishly awesome, but for an 80s era movie, I'm perfectly fine with it.
Recommended.

Easy Blind Buy for its Price

I had never seen this movie before when I bought it. I saw some great reviews for it on YouTube, so I figured for $7.99 (with a slip), I'd go for it. I'm glad I did. I grow more and more into enjoying Bradley Cooper's work.
It's not one I'd pay full release price for, but if you find this in the $7.99 bin, snap it up, now. Even at $9.99, I'd still go for it.

Any cinemaphile must own this...

This is one of those movies that is so classic and so life-altering that any person who claims to be a true cinemaphile (movie buff) must own. For some people, this might be a one-and-done watch, just because of its serious matter. This is one of Spielberg's best works. It should be required watching in high schools but thanks to censorship, will never be seen.
Everyone should watch this at least once. At the price point I found it ($12.99) with the package contents, it's an easy buy, even if it's a blind buy.

Classic Movies - A Must Watch

Airplane is a classic. Airplane II isn't as good, but it is still very enjoyable for what it is. It's one that I've had problems finding on its own, so I was happy to see the dual pack for such a good price.

Only one problem with this movie...

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It is very enjoyable with an extremely comedic scene or two.
To me, it's Pacific Rim combined with Groundhog Day combined with Independence Day. I've never really seen Emily Blunt's work, but I was very impressed with her acting work in this movie. It is just long enough at just over an hour and a half.
The only problem I have with the movie as a whole is the artwork. It makes one think the name of the movie is "Live...Die...Repeat." You don't even see the actual name of the movie unless you look for it.
Other than that, I wholeheartedly recommend this movie, even if you're not a Tom Cruise fan.
