Financial guy, Clark Howard (MSN) uses it and likes it.
Dumped AT&T phone service and never looked back.
Saves tons. Fax works, Alarm works, Port done.
Not paying for its premium service, just device and no negatives yet.
No monthly phone bills, just taxes ($3.47 per month).
What a difference. We use Magic Jack as back up.

What's great about it: Being able to dump AT&T excessive fees for phone service.
What's not so great: Wished we knew about it years ago.
