These were a huge disappointment. I didn't think I could go wrong when I bought a 50 pack of Verbatim DVD-Rs from Best Buy when they had them on sale one week at $12.99, especially after all the rave reviews Verbatim gets. I have a MacBook Pro and an iMac. Neither computer would recognize the first 10 DVDs from the spindle, so I just gave up on them. Perhaps I got unlucky with my Verbatim batch, perhaps it was one of those batches that were outsourced media. I've never had any problems burning to a Sony though so it's back to them until I ever encounter similar problems with them.
What's great about it: Got 'em on sale for $12.99.
What's not so great: Went through about 10 with no successful burns
