The manufacturer should be ashamed of this product. It is constructed horribly with cheap materials. I bought this product when I got my first iPod several years ago. Within a year it was broke. I bought another one, same problem. The wire keeps coming out near the adapter plug. I will have to buy another one, but this time I will definitely use a different manufacturer. After the next one at approx. $80 I will have officially spent just as much money on the adapter as I did on the iPod...what a joke. I also bought one for a friend as a gift, she has had it for 13 months...same problem.
I wouldn't recommend this to an enemy.
What's great about it: It charges the iPod
What's not so great: It breaks easily.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
