Good results some times

I have a Canon 2.8L 100mm macro lens, and a Macro Ring Lite MR-14EX II. Was disappointed that I couldn't focus real close to the insect so I got this extension tube. Works good most of the time but if the bug is on a big surface like a big leaf or a wall, I get this huge flare that ruins the picture. See pictures. All the fur and details of the bugs washed out by this flare. I think the insides are not well made so it's reflecting light in a bad way. If the bug is on a small flower, the flare isn't bad and can be fixed with Photoshop. Also I can't stack all 3, I would get an Error on my 7D Mark II or 5D Mark II. I can stack 2.

Great headphones for frequent flying

How Often Used:Daily
Verified Purchase:Yes
I travel a lot so I wanted to invest on some headphones. I do own the BeatsPro, which sounds fantastic, has very little sound leakage, but weighs a lot so not so great for 5-6 hour flights. I have never purchased the Studio because of sound leakage and needing batteries for it to even work even if you turn noise cancellation off. When Beats redesigned the Studio, I went to Best Buy to try them on and I really liked how light they were and the sound quality. I like bass and I tried the Bose QC15 at Best Buy and that didn't have as much bass for the music that I listen to. I just recently used the headphones on a flight from Honolulu to Las Vegas and it is great at cancelling out airplane noise or people talking so you can listen to your music or watch a movie. The rechargeable battery is convenient for me and last long. The on/off switch is unplugging the cable. While that sounds clever, it's kind of annoying if you put the headphones on your neck and you have a dangling wire. If you keep it plugged on the headphones, you are draining battery as it is still doing noise cancellation. Also, the band gets fingerprints VERY EASILY and it drives me nuts, I have to wipe it down often. I really like the hard carrying case compared to the bag they give you for the Beatspro, but there are no pockets so you might have loose cables and I don't think you can fit your charger in there as well. Build quality looks good, I don't think it's going to break any time soon but I did buy the warranty from Best Buy just in case as it is so irritating to mail your headphones to Beats and wait and wait for them to send you a replacement.

Works great with Windows Media Center. Free HD.

Thinking about getting rid of Cable so I was looking at a capture device for live TV or TiVo. TiVo requires you to rent a card from Time Warner, but the whole point is to stop paying Time Warner money. The Windows Media Center interface is very user friendly when you looking up channels and trying to record. The remote works great when you are playing back your recordings, you can FFWD, Pause, etc with ease. The capture quality is OK. Sometimes the skin tones look funny, too pink or too green or something. And unlike my DVR, you cannot record 2 things at once, or record one thing and watch another. You have to commit to one show at a time. But watching HD TV shows on your computer or laptop is pretty cool. The device does get super hot so be careful of that. The included software is kind of generic, so use Media Center.

What's great about it: Interface using Windows Media Center is user friendly. Remote!
What's not so great: Antenna is pretty weak. Can only record and watch one thing at a time, unlike a typical DVR.

only two of the three work
By jcud from Detroit, mi
I have recently purchased these only to find a large white spot in the middle of the frame whenever I take a macro shot. This is due to the inside of the tubes being smooth and able to reflect light. The two smaller rings are useable, but the larger one is not useable at all and adding two together is out of the question.
The rings fit nice and snug to each other and my current lenses so the construction other than the inner surface is quite adequate. Just disappointed that I am only able to use 2 of the three.

Agreed

I can confirm this. The good news is I can get real close to an insect, closer than my regular 2.8L 100mm macro lens. The bad news is all the details are washed out by the large white spot in the middle of the frame. Very disappointing.
