The InchSummer CampInch horror trilogy was one of the most popular franchises of the 1980s. However, the decade ended and so did director Julian Barrett's career. Now Barrett plans to resurrect his gory series via a modern reboot patterned after reality filmmaking. With his former leading lady and an eclectic group of 10 young Inchcontestants,Inch Barrett returns to the same locale where his old splatter-fests were filmed. When one of the campers is found savagely murdered, they realize there's more at stake than just fame and fortune. Each of them is in a fight for their lives as they realize summer is over - forever.

I wish Danielle Harris was in the movie more (just the first and last scenes mainly.) Eric Roberts is his old slippery self and the young actors are all decent for this type of production. The movie could have used a larger budget but you cannot expect much from direct to video horror. Decent gore and an ok storyline. I always enjoy the reality show angle in horror movies (Wrong Turn 2) anyone? Fun for horror fans but probably would not appeal to your everyday movie viewer. Still had enough production value to not be distracting and overall is recommended for a decent price.

Nice take on the popular zombie comedy genre going back to Return of the Living Dead and is reminiscent of other takes on the genre. Fun setting and unique for this type of movie I thought. Acting is more than adequate and zombie fans should be content with the gore and effects. I am just happy to see a fun zombie comedy with a budget and some production value.

Classis slasher has never looked better. This remastered version is sharper than the prior blu-ray release and still maintains some grain/filmic look. Of course the series is headed to blu-ray in one complete package with this version of Halloween so hardcore fans should look there for all of the releases. Cannot recommend enough.

This epic release from the landmark fantasy series Game of Thrones includes all 10 episodes of the show's third season, following the ongoing story of the powerful families of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros, a land in which the cut-throat political web through which seemingly everyone vies for control includes torture, seduction, and many secrets.

This is the best show on tv, without a doubt. Stays fairly true to the book series, although there are slight changes and embellishments of certain characters to appeal to the viewers. An example is Robb Stark's wife who is an afterthought in the books is a major character in this season. This series seems to have combined all of the great elements of prior HBO series like Carnivale, Rome and Sopranos into one series. I hope this show is around for the long haul. 5 books written so far and season 3 only gets through half of Book 3. Great replay value for this show and a purchase is really worth every penny.

Rumor has it that director joe lynch's vision of this movie was taken from him and butchered into a producer's cut without his approval. Fans had been waiting for his movie for over 2 years so I am just happy it was released at all. It is funny and goes into the Larp world like the movie role models did. Unfortunately we will more than likely never see the director's cut so be happy with what we have. I still recommend the movie. Peter dinklage, Steve zahn, Ryan kwanten, summer glau. Nice!

Pretty accurate adaptation of the classic book. I would have liked to see a rated r version where the excess and debauchery were on full display. However the pg-13 version means the kids in high school actually reading the book can see the movie as well. The movie is shot beautifully and Leo is at his best. Recommended.
On the beautiful but dangerous waters of Australia's Great Barrier Reef, ship delivery man Luke and four friends chart a yacht to it's new owner. Along the way, their ship is torn open by sharp rocks and begins to sink, leaving the passengers with a terrifying choice stay on board with slim hope of rescue, or swim twelve miles to the nearest island through shark-infested waters. When they enter the water, an unstoppable, relentless Great White immediately follows their trail for a white-knuckle chase that will fill the waters with blood! From the director of the acclaimed monster hit BLACK WATER comes a pulse-pounding, visually stunning thriller that never let's go until the final, heart-stopping scream!

The Reef is a welcome addition to the animals-attack/shark genre. I preferred it over Open Water. The characters are likeable for the most part and there is some definite tension and build-up before things really start to rock in the second half of the film. It is an Australian flick that features some beautiful land and seascapes. If you are irritated by accents then this might not be for you but there are some great Australian horror/thriller flicks out there. I adore Adrienne Pickering.

This is Kevin Smith's most derided movie, and breaks from his normally crass humor to a pg-13 romantic drama. Its still great and finally available on blu-ray so Smith fans can retire their old dvd. This was back during Ben Affleck's J-Lo period so she has some minor screen time before dying and setting up the premise of the story. I think the acting in the movie is very enjoyable. Carlin, Liv Tyler and Ben Affleck all do a fine job. Affleck, even at his worst, is still highly entertaining. Critcs were far too harsh on this movie. Not every Smith film is going to be Clerks, and thats a good thing.

There are not enough hockey/skating movies out there, The story of an injured ex-hockey player who keeps up the skates again as a professional ice skater. Nice love story. Its a romantic dramedy more so than a rom-com and is purely early 90s fair, but in a good way. I recommend. The transfer is better than prior dvd releases so pick up the blu for dirt cheap.

You get what you pay for from Echo Bridge blu-ray releases. This is an early Nick Cassavetes movie that has some nice roles and Travolta, Robin Wright and Sean Penn are all great. I believe this is the movie referenced in the episode of Entourage when Nick Cassavetes is trying to incite Vince to do his own stunts.
