Due to the multi-step processes involved with this machine, it is best suited for the coffee connoisseur vs those who just want a quick cup of coffee or espresso to get their day started.

- First among these is its ability to make a wide variety of coffee styles including 3 classic drip styles, 2 espresso styles, as well as 2 Cold brew styles (coffee and espresso).
- Next, up are the combined Barista Assist Technology, Integrated grinder, and weight-based dosing of the ground beans. These features work together to tailor the coffee drinks to your precise settings every time – from the grind size to the amount of coffee, as well as the temperature and pressure used in the brew that leads to high-quality drinks with balanced flavors.
- Third would be the espresso features of this machine – the easy-to-follow instructions, combined with video support allow anyone to create Espresso drinks with ease. One excellent feature of this machine is that the regular-use accessories all have storage places on the machine – the funnel and tamper on the left side when facing the machine, and the baskets, cleaning disk, and brush in a compartment on the right side. The Portafilter is stored in its normal position without a basket.

Although one benefit of this machine vs a fully automated one is this machine forces one to clean out things between each brew.
Cons:
- Complexity: The extensive features may be overwhelming for beginners, although the included guides and online tutorials help mitigate this. The portafilter is tough to lock into place for brewing.
- Milk Jug Cleaning: One concern expressed by my wife Is the need to remember to clean up the milk jug after the day’s use – so it does not get extra dirty by having dried froth/milk to clean later.

The earbuds come in 3 colors – Black, White, and Pink. They weigh 8.7g and have 4 microphones for voice precision when taking calls.
If you have read any of my other earbud reviews, you may recall that my wife loves earbuds, and I really don’t like them. Well, folks these are the exception and I love these – primarily because they are an ON-EAR design vs an IN-EAR design. This, however, does have drawbacks in that noise can overpower these devices – for example while I could wear and use them when using my string trimmer, I did have to turn the volume way up to have any chance of hearing anything.
I tested them in audiobook, podcast, music and phone call modes and had no issues with any of these scenarios the crisp, clear, sound. Again, these are soundly the best earbuds that I have tested.

The H-1 Pro Series Ace R450 is built with the same durable aluminum alloy frame as the Ace R350, but gets an upgraded 450W motor, a larger battery, higher top speed, and extended range. The Ace R450~s 450W motor gives it the extra power it needs to be able to reach a top speed of 20 mph and accelerate with more oomph. The dual front shocks absorb impacts while riding, adding to your riding comfort. With the 10~ self-sealing tube tires, flat tires are a thing of the past. Get up to 25.6 miles of range for those longer distance rides. View your current speed, speed mode, battery level, odometer, and more from the premium LED display. Ace R450 is a welcome enhancement to the already solid platform its based upon.

Firstly, the build quality is exceptional. The durable aluminum alloy frame not only looks stunning but also provides a sturdy foundation for the scooter. Whether navigating city streets or cruising through parks, I felt confident in its stability. The scooter can fold for ease if storage in your home on in a vehicle, as well as making it a bit easier to carry when it’s not in use.
The 450W motor is where the Ace R450 truly shines. With effortless acceleration and a top speed of 20 mph, this scooter is a joy to ride. Plus, the four speed-modes cater to different riding preferences, whether you're in the mood for a leisurely cruise or need to get somewhere fast.
One of the standout features is the dual front shock suspension system. It absorbs bumps and uneven terrain with ease, ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride every time. Combined with the 10” self-sealing tubeless tires, flat tires are a worry of the past, allowing me to focus on enjoying the journey.
But it's not just about performance; the Ace R450 also prioritizes safety, security and convenience. The remote lock feature provides peace of mind against theft, while the H-1 Pro Series App allows me to track the scooter's location at any time. This app also allows me to change the speed-modes, track the mileage from both a trip and total perspective and change the units of measurement (miles vs kilometers) and control the lights on the device to enhance my safety while riding.
With a range of up to 25.6 miles, I can explore far and wide without worrying about running out of battery. And thanks to the elegant LED display, I can easily keep track of my speed, battery level, and more at a glance. The charging block is about the same size as a typical laptop charging block allowing it to be easily carried in case one’s adventures are a bit longer and need a battery boost.
For this review I obtained some extra usage impressions from the other members of my household with the following backgrounds that I believe are important. The first additional user is an adult male with both skateboarding and past rental scooter usage. The second additional user Is my wife, she has no past skateboarding experience, and no past scooter experience. She is a pedal assist e-bike rider. The final user is me, an adult male with past skateboarding experience, no scooter experience, and I am also a pedal assist e-bike rider.
The first additional user stated that he believed the scooter to not be as robust as the rental scooter that he rode previously, but also noted that this scooter was 25% faster than the rental scooter. He was impressed that it could accelerate on one of the neighborhood’s hills he rode it on.
My wife and I did a test where we tried out all four of the speed modes Walk (0 – 3 MPH / 5 KM/H); Eco (0 – 9 MPH/ 14.5 KM/H); Drive (0 – 15 MPH/24 KM/H); and Sport (0 – 20 MPH / 32 KM/H). Each of these modes has a purpose – the walk mode for example could be used while accompanying another person on a walk, eco could be used to get some additional time/range or for a casual ride, while the Drive and Sport modes for when you need to get somewhere quickly or just have a “need for speed.” My wife found the device enjoyable and found the walk and eco modes most comfortable. We also agreed that this scooter is suitable for paved Surfaces such as greenways, sidewalks, and roads. This aligns to the manual’s safety instructions which cautions against “riding in off-road terrain”.
My wife and I also discussed the use case for this device vs our existing e-bikes and concluded that each person using a device would have to determine which works best for their use case. For example, in a highly urban setting, this scooter could likely meet most users’ needs, even going so far as being a possible automobile replacement. One item we discussed was going to the grocery store and agreed that a backpack could be used but would likely be for getting smaller amounts of groceries.
For my usage testing, I tended to enjoy the Drive and sport modes as I apparently have a need for speed but could see useful uses for the lower modes in more crowed settings and the other use cases already mentioned. Just a reminder that to change the speed modes and work some of the functions, such as the lock feature, and the lights – you must be using the H-1 Pro series app and connect to the scooter via Bluetooth.
In summary, the H-1 Pro Series Ace R450 is more than just a scooter; it's a smart companion for urban/suburban adventurers. Whether you're commuting to work or exploring the city on weekends, this scooter delivers a thrilling and hassle-free ride every time. Highly recommended for anyone looking to elevate their urban/suburban mobility experience. There are two areas I would consider for improvement for this scooter. First would be to see what could be done about the weight of the device to enhance its portability when not in use. While I appreciate the app. Making it a bit more obvious on how to control the scooter via the onboard controls would be appreciated.

I know numerous people who use multiple monitors daily for both work and personal computing needs. Then they travel and must switch to single screening while travelling or carry a second device and its associated accessories to maintain at least dual screen capabilities. Well now there is an innovative and impressive portable monitor solution for anyone who works or needs access to a multi-screen solution while using a laptop. This could be for personal or business. The DUEX MAX DS from Mobile Pixels is this solution.
This solution consists of a 14.1” 1080p IPS FHD display that weighs 1.8lbs (which adds to the weight of your laptop) and can be connected and powered by as little as a single USB-C port. This device is compatible with macOS/ Windows/ Nintendo Switch/ Samsung DEX and has auto-rotation capabilities and an eye-care mode. This monitor also comes with the USB-C Cable (with a USB A adapter), and HDMI cable with a USB-C adapter, 8 nano-adhesive tape circles, and 4 adhesive magnets, the setup guide, an attachment guide, and the “magnets locations template”. The device comes with a 1-year limited parts and labor warranty.
Setup is quick and straight forward – you use the “magents locations template” and the setup guide to place 4 magnets on to the back of one’s laptop (14” and larger laptops). The magnets are used by the monitor to mount the monitor to the back of the laptop screen and enable the second screen to be used without the need to have a table for the second monitor. The DUEX MAX DS monitor it then ideally connected and powered via the USB-C able and a USB-C port with DisplayPort ALT mode (DP ALT Mode) on your laptop. If your laptop has USB-C without DP ALT Mode and HDMI, or it only has a USB-A port and an HDMI port, you can use the USB-C cable USB-C cable (with or without the USB-A adapter) to provide power and the included HDMI cable to provide the video. The monitor itself has 4 metallic plates that are sized to connect to the 4 magnets attached to the monitor on laptops between 14” and 16” the magnets are centered on the back of the laptop screen and allow the DUEX MAX DS to be used either on the left or the right. For laptops larger than 16” it is recommended to shift the mounting template to one’s preferred side and use the device on that side.
The monitor does have several modes of use. When attached it can be either a right-hand or left-hand landscape monitor or it can be used with the screen folded back 180 degrees in a presentation mode. Unattached it can be used in a portrait mode as well as connected to a Nintendo Switch or an android phone/tablet.

Using the device once mounted is straight forward. You connect the cable and pull the monitor out. As it is pulled out, the monitor powers on and starts displaying the screen. For Portrait mode operations you must go into the display settings and set the monitor into portrait mode. For either landscape direction, the built-in accelerometer will rotate the view automatically.
Overall, this is a nice portable monitor solution that allows one to add a second screen to any laptop that has a 14 inch or larger screen and gain dual monitor capabilities. The downside is of course having to use the magnets to mount the screen to the monitor and then having to obtain extra magnets should on want to use the device on more than one laptop (say with a personal and a work device). Other than these two easily solved challenges this is a wonderful solution for adding a second screen to a laptop. Overall - 4.5 stars (which rounds up to 5 stars)

The LG Éclair SE6S soundbar is a nicely configured single unit soundbar that provides numerous connectivity options and sound excellent. This soundbar comes well packaged and includes the sound bar, power cables, an HDMI cable, a remote control, mounting brackets, a mounting template and a quick start guide. You do have to provide the screws if you decide to use the mounting brackets. The unit itself is solidly constructed and is encased in premium fabric to enhance its look and feel and provide some sound enhancement. LG is committed to a better tomorrow and the unit is constructed with no less than 12% post-consumer recycled content that has been validated by UL. It comes with a 1 year parts and labor warranty. The device also supports both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.
Let’s discuss the further features and functions of this device and then I will provide my insights on using it.
The device features cinema sound capabilities that are enabled though Dolby Atmos and DTS-X (and 7 other types of surround sound formats) to enable the sound to envelop you on all sides to create an immersive sound environment. This sound on the low end is enhanced through 4 passive radiators that enables powerful bass performance within the units small design. The sound bars sound spectrum though is full and complete. This is a 3.0 channel system with 20 W Center and 2x 20W Front speakers.
Setup is quick and easy and allows for connectivity via HDMI, Optical, USB, Wi-Fi (including Spotify and TIDAL Connect compatibility), and Bluetooth. The device supports Chromecast and Apple AirPlay 2. The device supports HDMI pass though with 4k and HDR supported. The device is setup with the WOW interface that would allow one to control both the soundbar and an LG TV with a single remote. Additionally the device supports WOWCAST capabilities allowing wireless connectivity between the TV and the Soundbar and supports Dolby Atmos. The device also features a passthrough refresh rate of up to 120Hz that allows one to enhance your gameplay by keeping the sound in sync with the video.
In my testing I found the sound bar to support all of my needs that I would use this for including Bluetooth connectivity from multiple devices, connecting to my TV as a sound device. The device sounds great and supports a wide audio range with powerful bass performance. Overall, this device is well built and delivers great sound.

I am impressed with the Blink Outdoor 4 system. Set up is quick and easy and can be done very quickly via the use of QR codes. This follows a typical process of downloading the associated app from your app store, creating an account, and then adding your sync module followed up by the camera to the system. Each sync module can have up to 10 devices attached though it. The system having a sync module does a few things – it “camera battery life, saves clips without a subscription, improves convenience for scheduling, and arms a group of devices at once.” The downside is the need to have an always-on Wi-Fi connection (2.4 GHz Wi-Fi internet connection with at least 2 MB per second of upload speed (from your network to the internet) for the system to be used. This is good in a home use situation but is less advantageous when using the system with an RV or camping trailer setup where one may not have access to such capabilities. I am glad to see that this system can run in a subscription free mode, however you do lose a lot of capability doing so – such as real-time viewing and the two-way audio capability.
Overall, this is a great design for security cameras and there are plenty of YouTube videos I have seen that can help you get the most out of your system.

Good Quality Cable with a Surprise Feature!

The Insignia USC-C to USB-C Change-and-Sync Cable with Braided Cable is a wonderful cable that comes and works as designed.
The cable is a 7-ft (actually 7ft - 1.75 inches) braided USB-C to USB-C cable that does everything this cable says it will do. The cable provides up to 60 Watts of Power Delivery and up to 480 Mbps of data transfer speed (your milage her varies greatly).
The cable has a sturdy construction and quality connectors. A surprised feature is the robust rubber cable strap. This allows one to secure and store the cable in various lengths and configurations and not have the total length be in ones way.
I find that 7-foot cables are a "Goldilocks length" for cables of this type so that it can reach a decent distance without having too much waste while also being long enough to work for most use cases. There is noting more annoying than needing a few more inches of cable and not having it or having too much cable and it getting in the way.
A nice thing about this being a white cable is that it is highly visible, making it easy to find when it might get wrapped up in the bedcovers or other places.
Another benefit of this cable is the dual USB-C ends - as more an more devices come equipped with USB-C ports having dual ended USC-C cables gets more important.
Overall this is an excellent cable and comes highly recommended.

The Litra Beam LX by Logitech is a dual-sided RGB streaming key light. It is part of the Logitech G brand of PC Gaming peripherals and as such can be controlled by the Logitech G HUB software that is used to control Logitech G devices of all kinds including but not limited to Mice, Keyboards, headphones, microphones, and webcams.
For those not into video or photography a key light is the main source of light in a video or photo. High-key lighting results in brightly lit subjects with more fill light and softer shadows. Fill lights are used to increase the amount of ambient light in a scene and reduce the contrast. In essence – good lighting results in good quality video and photographs.

One of the nicer features of this streaming light is that the bar itself has two mounting screw locations – one centrally located and a second located at the end of the bar – this when combined with the height-adjustable mounting stand provides for several options for positioning the light to meet your space’s unique needs. For example, you can have the light mounted in a T-Shaped method using the center mounting point. Alternatively, when using the end mounting point you can have the light arranged in several ways – from horizontal to vertical by taking full advantage of this 180-degree swivel feature of the mounting stand. This way you can more precisely place the light to give you the best benefits of the key light. Since the power and USB wires connect on the underside of the light, you do really need to use the stand to position the light. It would be a nice touch on future versions of the light to include some legs – either as additional parts of as flip out options with a channel in the end of the leg to allow the light to be place on top of a monitor screen and use the light without the stand. The stand and light come with good cable management features to help contain the cords more efficiently.

Using the light with Logitech G HUB is easy and straight forward. It even has some a right click option on the G Hub task bar application to see the status of the light and perform some quick updates (see images) and provides a status of how the light is connected. The G Hub app also has a nice “features and functions” review of the light as part of the initial screen via the option called “Meet Litra Beam LX”.
The light supports G-Key functionality (buttons or keys to trigger commands or functions when pressed) and as such you can use it with other G-Key capable devices (such as a mouse, headset, or keyboard) to control the light brightness, color temperature, switch pre-sets, or turn the light on or off. G HUB also helps keep your light up to date with the latest firmware updates. Another nice feature though G HUB is to be able to automatically activate the light when your webcam activates. There are two main menus in the app – the light menu and the LIGHTSYNC menu – the light menu is for controlling the main white light of the bar and allows for selecting one’s preset, the temperature and the brightness of the light and selecting the camera you to use with the light. Also on the Light page is a drop down for the presets you have available to use. There is a second one for the profile to use.
The LIGHTSYNC Menu is all about controlling the RGB rear light of the bar to help set the mood of the room – with options for Power of the RGB light, overall brightens and then menus for pre-sets, Freestyle, Which allows one to control each of the 7 sections of RGB lights independently or in groups (for example - 2 Left, 3 center, and 3 right) and animations (the lights changing colors at certain rates and patterns. Each section has multiple options and combinations. One of the fun presets is the audio visualizer where you can set high, low and background colors and the RGB light will react to any music you are playing with those colors as the music plays.
Overall, I am impressed with the functionality of this key light and the added bells and whistles of the RGB light. The light has enough capability and options to make it useful in a large variety of settings and improve the quality of any video you are producing whether that video is for streaming, recorded videos, or even online meetings for work. I would recommend this light for those seeking a key light for their setups although this model may be too feature-rich for those seeking a simple key light. For those users, the Litra Beam may be an option.

It should work and you might have to get an extension cable to route the rear-facing camera. Since your vehicle has a hatchback - routing the cable through the wiring harness and onto the glass will present challenges.
