You can't beat Yamaha for home theater!

This amp was purchased to replace a 1996 vintage Yamaha DSP 3090 unit. The new amp weighs about 10 pounds less than the old one which my glass shelf appreciates. It decodes all the newest movie sound programs which was the main reason I made the upgrade in the first place. I looked at several high end amps before deciding on this one and so far I am very happy with my selection.

What's great about it: Quality of build is outstanding and great sound processor.
What's not so great: Remote is somewhat difficult to read with light grey text on dark grey buttons.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Replacement sound system on my Apple IMac.

This is an excellent replacement for my aging Altec Lansing computer sound system. The bass subwoofer does an impressive job with the lows, and the highs are crisp and flawless. A great investment and offered at a fair price.
What's great about it: Sounds great with very easy set-up procedure.
What's not so great: Black color shows the dust, wish it were off-white or beige.
I would recommend this to a friend!
