Surprise by ease of set-up

I was hesitant to use a universal remote. I read how complicated it was to set-up. This was very easy. Walked through a few steps on the Logitech app and it was done. May be more complicated if you want to set-up a bunch of 1 button activities, but basic functions were done in minutes.
The best feature for me is the ability to change which remote to use from the viewing window. Example, when I was streaming a movie through my DVD player, I could choose to switch to the DVD remote and have full functionality.

Do not use for in-wall application

These cables are very thick and rigid. They are very difficult to work with. If you are not a professional installer, I would not use these cables. I'm looking to return these and find something in the same performance class but easier to work with for an In-Wall application. Probably would be fine if you are putting your TV on a stand, not on a wall.

Issues with WiFi and streaming

Purchased this TV without much research. Had I looked into more I would have seen the known issues connecting to WiFi. Multiple reviews state this issue. Plan on hard wiring this to get internet. I had to purchase a WiFi extender. Still waiting for a call back from Sharp's WiFi Dept.
Most disappointing is that Sharp Support claims I can not stream a movie thru my Home theater, sound is only available thru the TV speakers. Really? Unacceptable for a TV in this price class. Hopefully this can be corrected. For now, we stream thru the DVD player.
Overall I like the TV. Still tweaking the picture settings but it was acceptable out of the box. I probably would not recommend this TV to someone who is heavy into streaming movies.

I have had nothing but issues. Worse yet, it has taken over 6 weeks to fix issues on 2 separate occasions. Approved service techs are hard to find and do not like working on LG. Bought 3 other LG appliances at the same time. On my 3rd service calls with them also.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does this remote work with sound bars?
Works fine with my home theater system. I would be surprised if it didn't work with a soundbar. With the Logitech set-up program, you'll know in minutes.

How big is the stand?
How big is the stand, Not the TV as a whole, just the length and width of the stand.
Stand is 32 1/8" wide. Check Cructhfield website for specs.
