Great TV - maybe not for average consumer

TV is large (that's good) and supports all the latest formats like 4K resolution, Dolby Vision (not yet - waiting for firmware upgrade), HDR 10 and has HDCP 2.2 and HDMI 2.0a ports etc.. I wall mounted it and it looks awesome in my basement. My wife hates the remote. You have to use a tablet and this TV has no built-in apps. It does support ARC so whatever movie you cast from the Tablet (which is very nice by the way) will be able to use your A/V receiver and speakers. Now I use a Samsung 4K UHD Blu-Ray player for the apps (Amazon Prime, VUDU, YouTube and Netflix primarily) and 4k movies look glorious in their details. FYI 1080p movies also look great.
I also use a Tivo and have programmed the Tivo remote to control the TV power on/off. I don't need my TV to have apps - my Tivo and Blu-ray player have all i need so love the lower price for not paying for all the extra software I do not need. Overall a great TV with a frustrating remote/tablet.

Good movie - great to test a 4k TV

Movie was good - lots of great details to be seen on my 4k Vizion P75-C1 and Samsung UHD 4k player. Not sure this is a "classic" so normally would not have bought and paid more for a 4k UHD blu-ray. Its a great way to test your 4K TV so enjoy for that.

Good DVD - unsure about value for UHD

I needed a 4k Blu Ray to "test" my new TV and Samsung UHD player - honestly this is not a film I will see more than once as it is not (in my humble opinion) a "classic". Apocalypse Now and Alien and Star Wars belong in that category and I will buy those UHD 4K movies when they come out.

From the moment I hooked it up the wifi has not worked at all. I finally tried resetting the dns to 8.8.8.8 it worked for a night then when I turned it back on it stopped and the router is literally right on the other side of the wall. I even moved the router into the room next to it and it kept disconnecting. Finally I just ran a Lan cable and the internet started working. Netflix keeps freezing when trying to load up and that's if I don't get a solid black screen and have to unplug the entire tv for it to start working again. Taking it back this weekend for the money I should not have to deal with the wifi not working and the main app I use freezing up. Huge Samsung fan but this being my first 4k tv I'm very disappointed. Updated the tv and it still does the same thing. You would think since the 4ks have been out for some time they would have all the kinks figured out.

wifi issues

I read on another site that the wifi issues are fixed by a firmware update which either has to be downloaded to a USB drive and manually updated or if you are hardwired to your router you can automatically download. Have you tried that?

One Transmitter to Two Receivers for Speakers apart from one another.
I am interested in acquiring a second receiver to use in tandem with the first and the transmitter I currently have. My main problem is that I have a door between the two speakers in the back and the wires have to go over the door or at the bottom of the door. Would like to reduce the wiring needed and use a receiver for each speaker at the back of the room with the one transmitter I have. Any problems with this scenario?

Crackling sound from speaker
I recently had google fiber hooked up and now I get random crackling in my rear speakers and no sound for a few seconds then it works fine.
not sure why google fiber affects your speakers?? the connection is bluetooth not wifi.
