Cannot View Simultaneously

I hooked this up going from a cable box to a 32" LCD and a 58" plasma. The build quality is good and it works splitting the signal to both televisions without pixelation or video noise. However, it does not allow me to view both TVs at the same time. I used Rocketfish HDMI cables (it doesn't make a difference if you use Monster). For my purposes this is okay because I won't be watching both TVs simultaneously. I gave it 4 stars for price because a similar unit on a popular online retailer was almost twice as much. I originally tried a non-powered unit from another company which was only $15, but it didn't even work at all... so it was $15 wasted. I've read elsewhere that the performance may also depend on the size of TVs you are sending the signal to. If you consider $99 too expensive, shop around and you will see that for a "POWERED" HDMI splitter it's actually inexpensive. (Note: There is a blue LED light on the front of the splitter that cannot be turned off).
What's great about it: Good build, better price than the competition.
What's not so great: Cannot view TVs simultaneously.

This game freezes Xbox

The game started out great but freezes the Xbox during game play. Eventually the game caused the "Red Ring of Death" and I had to use my extended service plan to replace it. Microsoft's site of course makes no mention of any problems reported.
What's great about it: Don't know... can't play it
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does the RF-G1182 device only transmit up to 60Hz, or does it truly have lossless pass-through signal that is only rated for up to 60Hz?

I only ask this because on the back of the box I noticed that it said "Frame Rate | 60Hz," but I couldn't find any other more detailed information about the frame rate specs anywhere.
I am guessing you are wondering if this will support a 120Hz, 240Hz etc TV... you may be surprised to know that nothing transmits a signal as 120Hz or 240Hz. All the devices you own transmit the signal at 60Hz and your TV converts/alters the signal to the improved frame rate. If you don't believe me look at the output options/information on your devices, also read the source information displayed on your TV. Your devices are also labeled and stamped as such on the back of the device near the serial number. There is no such thing (at this time) as a 120Hz Blu-Ray player... or anything else for that matter. So... yes is the answer to your question if you're wondering if this will work with all the different frame rate TVs, but the question itself is flawed because the frame rate is a function of the TV, not the source. Here's a great thread for more geeky information:

Can this splitter be used to pass 3D video to a 3D TV and HD audio to an HDMI 1.3 AVR?

The easy answer is yes. I am assuming that your AVR does not support the 1.4 standard required for 3D, yet supports the lossless formats like Dolby TrueHD and DTS Master HD. This is perfect for this purpose... Of course you'll now have to turn down the TV speakers too. Also consider for the $100 you're going to shell out for this single purpose device you may want to consider buying a new Denon AVR that supports 3D and HDMI upconversion starting at $350 and re-purposing your current AVR (depending on the quality of your current AVR of course). See the recommendation attached.
