I use it in...:Large home
This router is simply amazing. We live in a large home with several bedrooms. All of our "older" devices run on 2.4Ghz while our newer on 5Ghz. I have to say the AC connection is lightning fast and a huge improvement from an N router. Beamforming is a noticeable benefit and it seems to greatly increase the range of the router. My computer is connected at 866Mbps constantly and provides effortless video streaming playback and lag-less online game play. I recommend this router to anyone that is looking to vastly improve their wifi range as well as speed and overall performance.
What's great about it: Easy to setup, speed, wireless range
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best computer speakers for your money

I have used this system for a solid 30-days. I have watched movies, played games, and listened to music. I have to say these speakers blow me away. The highs are perfect and the lows are so deep. I have them plugged into a Sound Blaster X-Fi Go! and I can fine tune with a graphic equalizer.
Pros: Amazing sound even at lower volumes. I am afraid to turn it past 1/2, they will blow me out of my chair!!!
Cons: Wires, but I could of went with the wireless version. No on/off switch. I feel they should come with some type of sound adjustment software for the best performance.
What's great about it: Sound range and amazing lows at low volume
What's not so great: No on/off switch
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does the Roku3 work with this Router?

I just bought this router and know it's 802.11ac with backward compatibility. Was wondering if it will work with the Roku3, which from what I gather has 802.11n listed as it's highest level. I've also been looking at BluRay players with built-in Wi-Fi, but I'm a bit confused as to how to tell if they at least have 802.11 technology, whether it's a/b/g/n, or if it's not 802.11 (dual band) at all. I want to buy a streaming device, but wondering now if I should just wait a few months and see if a fresh crop of blu ray players or a Roku comes out with 802.11ac technology. If anyone can help me with my confusion, I would appreciate the help. Thanks!
I currently use a Samsung Bluray player to stream all of my media from my PC and internet. Before the nighthawk everything buffered and loaded endlessly. We are currently sporting AT&T U-Verse, so you wouldn't think we would have a problem. After setting up my nighthawk and using QoS, I connected the same Samsung Bluray player, and tried to stream a 31GB media file from my computer... and guess what... not a single buffer or hiccup. I switched to Netflix and Amazon... again no buffering and no extensive loading. The router has made a tremendous improvement on all of my non-AC devices. I would go for any N device with this router, but having AC is a world of a difference. You would be happy with either N or AC capable media devices with this router.
