This three-pack contains the first three films in the Tom Cruise starring action series Mission Impossible, in which Cruise plays Ethan Hunt, a super spy who tackles seemingly impossible missions. The movies were directed by Brian De Palma, John Woo, and J.J. Abrams.

No plan. No backup. No choice. Agent Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his elite team (Jeremy Renner, THE AVENGERS and Simon Pegg, STAR TREK) go underground after a bombing of the Kremlin implicates the IMF as international terrorists. While trying to clear the agency's name, the team uncovers a plot to start a nuclear war. Now, to save the world, they must use every high-tech trick in the book. The mission has never been more real, more dangerous, or more impossible.

Sentimental Favorite

This was an excellent DVD version of a classic movie made in the late 1960's. This is a sentimental favorite for us and we've always wanted it on DVD. It is a great movie for all the family.
What's great about it: We have always loved this musical version of Scrooge

Twentieth Century Fox is to be applauded for its release of this impish Irish flick, as it is an impeccable transfer. The anamorphic widescreen (2.35:1) image is so sharp, one is afraid to look too closely at the scenes in which the two seasoned lead actors, the late Ian Bannen and David Kelly, appear naked. The picture is very consistent and changes from the dark, shadowy night scenes to the lighter, sunny days with no difference in detail. The Dolby Surround Sound showcases the Irish melodies prevalent throughout the film in full stereo and the Irish brogue dialogue is easy enough to understand thanks to the distinct audio quality. The additional features menu (which is, as the Irish say, "good craic" to look at, as it showcases yet again the two lead actors' behinds) includes detailed bio-filmographies on the main players as well as writer/director Kirk Jones. Also featured is the obvious scene selection as well as the original theatrical trailer. Subtitles are available in English and Spanish. A commentary or mini-documentary would have been welcome, but this is nevertheless a delightful package.

This is a wonderful movie. Despite the mention of the nudity, it is tastefully done and adds to the humor. The surprise ending makes this movie a MUST see.
