I bought these speakers for my daughter for Christmas. When we opened it on X-mas morning the box was covered in oil, oh btw they should be called "Dancing Oil Speakers". The liquid inside is oil, not water. Back to the story... the "Water" inside the speakers had leaked out and basically made the product useless. The speakers worked but the sound coming from inside them (I assume the pump trying to pump the non existent oil) was so loud that you cant even hear the music. Needless to say we returned them and they shipped us a new set. Just got done opening them and again, one speaker has leaked out all the oil. Also there is a crack on top of both speakers. Pretty sure I'm going to return them and go to Hot Topic and spend the extra $15 for the Bluetooth ones...and check them before I leave.

I purchased these speakers as a Christmas present for my son. He plugged them in and one of them didn't work - the water and colors just didn't do their thing. The speakers themselves worked, and the sound quality was ok for what they are, but the whole point is to have the novelty and fun of watching the water dance around. I returned them with no problem to the store and reordered another set online (they were now half price after Christmas). When they arrived we were hopeful, but not surprised that we had the same problem. When I returned this set to the store, the employee told me that she had seen several of these returned, usually because one of the speakers was not working for one reason or another. They are a cool idea, but clearly have some sort of design flaw. They could be fun if they worked.
