Just a little background info. I was looking for better speakers for my PC in late 2004 and wanted something better than the two factory speakers that came with my computer, not too tough to beat. I wanted something that had reasonable sound quality and bass. These Klipsch speakers performed above and beyond anything I ever would have expected. The bass the subwoofer produces would shake throughout the floor of the dorm I was in at the time. As you can tell, I have had these for almost 8 years and the quality has not diminished. When I was looking for a new tv for my apartment a few months back I intentionally sought out a tv that had a headphone jack so I could use these speakers instead of buying a surround sound system. I believe these rival the $500+ Denon system that my parents have at their home. I can't even count how many times I have recommended these speakers to co-workers and friends. Dollar for dollar the best speakers you can buy and extremely versatile whether you are looking for sound for your computer or TV. I am amazed everyday with the quality of this product and if mine happen to fail at some point in the future I will buy the same as a replacement. I can't stress the quality and performance of these enough. If there's a choice, buy these. Oh, and to those saying there is no power off switch, it's true that you have to flip the power switch on the back of the sub to turn them off. I wouldn't consider that a draw-back, maybe a MINOR inconvenience at most.
