These blank CD-R Discs are the same Top Notch Quality that Verbatim has always had a reputation for in blank disc media.
Whether it is CD-R Media, or DVD+/-R Media as well.
Trust Verbatim blanks for Quality & Compatibilty with most all Burners!

While Verbatim is using a different factory, I have used 100's of these and they have Excellent results every time! I have had 100% sucess with these new ones!

Yes, these are not made in the same factory as they used to be, however, CMC magnetics makes some good media. I've used hundreds of these newer ones, and I've found that the reliability is the same as before. Once in a while I get a bad disc. maybe 1 out of 2-3 hundred, that's less than 1% failure. Acceptable by any standard.
Buy these when on sale! Paying regular price is crazy.
( Some people think they get bad discs with media due to having a burner that isn't compatble with the newer media. Update your firmware, or buy a newer burner, they're cheap now!)

Don't let large music, digital photo, video and data files slow your computer down, store them on these long-lasting, nondegradable DVD+R discs.

These are fair medai . Not excellent, not poor. They need to be sold at a lower price. You can get better brands & much better quality for a lower price. Even here at Best Buy. Sony's and Verbatim's are much better. Wait for a Sale though!
What's great about it: Pretty Good DVD Media for backup & video files.
What's not so great: Not the Best Quality for the Money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you want the Best Media you can get, get these. I have been using Verbatim Media for years and the Quality is Top Notch. I get 99.99% reliabilty from these.
Buy them when on Sale, you can't go wrong.

You can't go wrong with APC. I have APC Battery Backups on both my PCs. Never had a surge problem and when the power goes out, I have plenty of time to shut down my PC. The price is good for the protection you get. As a PC Tech myself, I can tell you that most all PC failures are related to insufficient surge protection and battery backup. The APC unit even regulates the power to your expensive PC to protect that power supply. If the power supply goes, a lot of times it takes the motherboard out too. Buy one of these. The best insurance money you can spend on your PC. One power supply replacement at a PC shop will cost you as much as this unit. Maybe a lot more if it takes out your motherboard!
What's great about it: Best Protection Money can buy!
What's not so great: None

This product, manufacturer number 97175, is NOT original, real Verbatim manufacture DVD's. The original, genuine Verbatim product is manufactured by Mitsubishi which shows in the disc id as Manufacturer Name Mitsubishi Chemical Corp., Manufacturer ID "MCC". The "Verbatim" product number 97175 is actually manufactured by CMC Magnetics Corp. That is the same company that manufactures discs sold as TDK, Maxell and other brands. The original Verbatim discs were considered superior. There are just the same as the ordinary others.

They may be coded different, but I am sure Verbatim oversees Quality Control on these. I have personally used hundreds of these with 100% success!

These Verbatim's are indeed manufactured in a different plant than the "Original" Verbatim Media was, However, they are STILL Excellent Quality Media. I have personally used hundreds wqith no failures or errors.Buy these with confidence!
