I'm very happy with this, although some may not be able to justify an upgrade with the newer model coming out in a year....
The console is a little faster than the original xbox one. The graphics are a bit better but not ground breaking unless you also have a 4k TV. The smaller size, ability to orient vertically and the new massive internal hard-drive are the main reasons I bought this. The power block is now inside the console as well which is great. This new model does not turn on as easily as the old one, which is awesome and the increased range for the controller is great. Textured grips are nice too.
Two minor complaints. The power cord to the xbox is way too short in my opinion. Half of what it should be. Also, some of the buttons are too sensitive on the controller (the left and right bumpers).
Conclusion: If you have $300-$400 laying around, it's well worth it. The improvements overall are a nice upgrade to the original one and replaces everything we hated. However, do not purchase if you're expecting anything ground breaking. Performance wise, it's not much different from the first xbox one. If you don't plan on getting a 4k TV then you may want to just hold onto your xbox and skip this purchase.

This is a beautiful remaster of the original gears. Campaign is exactly like the first one except in stunning HD, plus online multiplayer and co-op. If you liked the first one, you'll love this remaster for the one.
However, I have noticed several glitches while playing the game. Once I was stuck in the chainsaw animation like I was getting killed but I didn't actually die, sometimes dead bodies spin on the ground a few times and I've noticed some minor graphical/loading glitches. Stuff like that. Multiplayer is good but the matching could be better. Overall I'd give it a 4.5. A really awesome game.

This game looks like Fallout 3 but better. Better graphics and more streamlined gameplay but keeping all the things that made the series great. I'm extremely excited about this release, more so than Halo 5 and can't wait to play it!

This game is worth every penny as you get so much in such a nice bundle. This game will provide hours upon hours of fun and like mass effect is great if you like shooter and RPG combination games, which I do.
What's great about it: Overall gameplay is fun and addicting
What's not so great: Storyline I guess

Fantastic game if you like RPG's and shooter games which I do. This has a great storyline and I highly recommend to buy as it's so cheap for such a great game. The new mass effect 3 came out so if you like that game but want to get more of the story, pick this up!
What's great about it: Pretty much everything I loved it
What's not so great: Nothing

A good game to get if you're a fan, the campaign is fun and adds some new things that aren't in prior halos. Guns are underpowered in my opinion but it's made up for in the improved AI all around and because they added new flood forms and storyline. I would buy again/recommend it.
What's great about it: Story, different flood forms, better AI
What's not so great: Guns seem under powered compared to other halos

A masterpiece if you're a long time halo fan which I am. The sole reason I bought an Xbox was because of this series. This is a must have for any halo fan. It has not been changed from the original halo which I loved as it brought back such good memories. The graphics are stunning and I love how you can switch back and forth with ease, we are spoiled nowadays with our graphics!
What's great about it: 3D graphics and the fact that it wasn't changed
What's not so great: nothing
