The crime drama's third season takes on a darker and edgier tone, as it opens with the Machine missing and completely self-governed. Root (Amy Acker) has been confined to an insane asylum but is in constant contact with the Machine, while Finch (Michael Emerson) finds himself in a position where he's no longer the Machine's sole human contact. Meanwhile, Reese (Jim Caviezel) and Shaw (Sarah Shahi) continue their work preventing crimes from happening with the help of their usual NYPD contact, Det. Fusco (Kevin Chapman); and Carter (Taraji P. Henson), who has been demoted from detective to a uniformed police officer, wages a very personal war against the corrupt police organization HR. At the same time, new threats against Team Machine come to light, including Vigilance--a watchdog group committed to exposing overreaching government surveillance methods--and Decima Technologies, who tried and failed to take control of the Machine in the previous season and are now going to extreme measures to bring another surveillance system called Samaritan online.

Love this show and it's cast of characters is incredible. The show, however is not for suspicious or paranoid people. The constant camera view and continuous monitoring could make the most sane person become paranoid. Not only would I recommend the show to a friend, I have.

I have been a fan of the Bond movies since seeing The Spy Who Loved Me in the theater when I was 12. I have watched all of the Bond movies at least 5 times each.
I wasn't super impressed with the direction they took the movies when Daniel Craig took over the character. To me it just felt like they were taking the character too seriously. But I remained a fan nonetheless.
I saw Skyfall in the theater and was thoroughly impressed. Although still very serious, this installment once again made me feel like Bond was forced to use his brain more and rely less on Q Branch.
The extras on the Blu-ray are nice and I always enjoy watching the behind the scenes stuff.

Due to the age of my youngest child, I don't get to the theater as often as I would like to. I really enjoyed this entry in the Thor series. Lots of over the top comic book action with quality acting. Throw in a $5 Cinemanow credit and this was a great deal.
This epic release from the landmark fantasy series Game of Thrones includes all 10 episodes of the show's third season, following the ongoing story of the powerful families of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros, a land in which the cut-throat political web through which seemingly everyone vies for control includes torture, seduction, and many secrets.

Joss Whedon attempted to follow up his successful series Buffy the Vampire Slayer with the science fiction-themed Firefly. Although the series failed to garner a mass audience, it did have a loyal following. Those fans will be pleased by this box set that contains every episode of the series that aired, as well as three never-before-seen episodes. All 15 episodes are presented in anamorphic widescreen. English, French, and Spanish soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital Surround. Commentaries are available on four of the episodes. Production featurettes, a blooper reel, and a tour of the set with Whedon round out this solid package that should be of interest to genre enthusiasts as well as Whedon's fans.

I understand why this show was cancelled. Not that it is a bad show because the show is fantastic. It just isn't for everyone and by the time people started watching it, it's time was up and it was cancelled.
The show is one of those shows that needs to find it's audience and space westerns are a different breed. It was a great show, with good stories, good acting and likeable characters. Unfortunately the bigwigs didn't want to stick with it long enough for word of mouth to get around and build it's audience.
The set includes all 12 episodes that aired and 3 that didn't. It also has a decent gag reel and behind the scenes stuff.
I got this on Black Friday for $9, so it was a definite deal.
This release from the sitcom Big Bang Theory includes all 24 episodes of the show's sixth season, following the daily misadventures of a group of socially awkward and terminally endearing scientists.

I have been a fan of the show since the beginning and have all of the seasons. I saw this on sale as part of Best Buy's Black Friday sale and couldn't pass it up. $17 for the DVD/Blu-Ray/UltraViolet combo is way too good to pass up.
Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons and Kaley Cuoco are the heart of the show. The additions of Melissa Rauch and Mayim Bialik over the last couple of seasons has only improved on the show.
Honestly, I bought this season because I already had the first five and I love the show. There are only a few shows that I have been able to sit down and watch repeatedly and this happens to be one of them.

I always prefer to the extended editions of movies because most times they put a different perspective and tend to give more insight on the story.
This set comes with the theatrical version on DVD, Blu-Ray, 3D Blu-Ray, Ultraviolet and a Digital Copy for iTunes. It also has the Extended version on Blu-Ray as well. Both regular Blu-Ray versions offer the "Second Screen App" option so that you can watch the movie and get more information on you tablet as well.
The main Blu-Ray is the only disc that has any true extras though. It has 1) an Alternate Ending; 2) "X-Men: Days of Future Past" set tour; 3) The Path of the Ronin. Inspiration, Design, Execution, Hugh Jackman and Reflections (Evolution of Wolverine). If you like seeing how things are made and done, you will like these. Nothing thought provoking, but still good.
