Klipsch has legendary sound quality, and legendary quality issues as well. I know I am not the only one, and there is a reason some of the major online etailers like newegg stopped carrying these...returns. My right speaker was DOA right out of the box. Everything else worked fine. Yes, it was hooked up correctly and in the correct sequence given that there is no on/off switch. Extremely disappointed. I had a set of Promedia speakers before, and one of the satellites blew despite it never was used beyond 50% volume. I chalked it up to an abberation, but after having done some research online at the time I found that this was common and having blown subwoofers was even more common. The consensus was quality issues, and pervasive ones at that. I decided to give it a couple of years to let Klipsch work out their quality issues and boy was I disappointed. Logitech here I come. Too bad! Returning these speakers ASAP.
What's great about it: Wonderful sound if they worked
