This game brings back some of the classic Resident Evil I thought might never come back. More survival horror, less explosions. But some modern RE things still remain such as the Co-op which can only be played with a cpu partner through the campaign. Since this is originally a 3DS game that explains why there's no human co-op option but it still sucks. The other thing I don't like that makes a returns is chapters. It breaks the action, tension, and immersion to give you results and high scores. I want to explore the stages and collect everything but I'm punished because my time is being counted and hurting my score. It's just another reminder that this isn't classic RE and we might never get it again.

This game went a little under the radar compared to the first. I didn't actually play it till recently, just before Bioshock Infinites release. To my surprise, I actually prefer this game to Infinite. It just seems like a more well made game, Infinite focused so much on graphics and sound that it seems like some smaller things went neglected. Bioshock 2 has it all down, it hits all the highs and lows you expect from Bioshock. My only disappointment in the single player campaign was the Big Sisters, I thought they would play a greater role in the story. They were just another enemy to defeat with no real meaning.
There's also a mutiplayer mode in there which is interesting. It brings some of the Bioshock elements into multiplayer such as hacking, special powers, photographing enemies and implements them in smart ways. The only bummer for me is that you have to put in a good amount of time before you get to use any of the good stuff and be able to compete with the other players. It's a unnecessary barrier for new players who have no chance of succeeding early on simply because of the terrible guns and powers they're stuck with till they lose enough to unlock something better. It kills the balance and will turn away new players.

What's great about it: Great second trip to Rapture
BioShock Infinite is a first-person shooter like you've never seen. Just ask the judges from E3 2011, where the Irrational Games title won more than 75 editorial awards, including Game Critics Award's Best of Show.Set in 1912, players assume the role of former Pinkerton agent Booker DeWitt, sent to the flying city of Columbia on a rescue mission. His target? Elizabeth, imprisoned since childhood. During their daring escape, Booker and Elizabeth form a powerful bond ~ one that lets Booker augment his own abilities with her world-altering control over the environment. Together, they fight from high-speed Sky-Lines, in the streets and houses of Columbia, on giant zeppelins and in the clouds, all while learning to harness an expanding arsenal of weapons and abilities and immersing players in a story that is not only steeped in profound thrills and surprises, but also invests its characters with what IGN called "emotional ties (that) will continue to set the bar in gaming."

The Story is fantastic, well written and told. Many twists and turns will have you on the edge of your seat, no surprise there. What I want to talk about is the combat.
For most of the game it's fun, switching powers and weapons on the fly, scavenging for ammo and equipment. It's a well balanced challenge till you find the handyman. This enemy type is too broken, he's deadly from long range, close range, faster than you, he's huge, he rarely stands still to let you attack him and he can close the gap in an instant. Luckily you only run into this enemy type 4 times in the game or I would've been very unhappy.
So we go from broken hard to broken easy. Late in the game you get a power known as Return to Sender which makes you invincible as long as you go enough resources to use it. Combine this with certain equipment load outs and the game becomes extremely easy even on the hardest difficulty. I could take down multiple handymen at the game time if I needed to without breaking a sweat. You get about 3/4 of the way through the game so it's not as bad as it could've been.

This is one of the best RPGs available on the PS3. Fantastic story, characters, world. You will want to read every piece of dialogue and learn everything about the world and the people you travel with. The Ultimate Edition is a amazing value which adds about 30 additional hours of content in addition to the already lengthy original campaign. Must buy for any RPG fan.

This game is so much fun to play, keyword play. The Story and dialogue all felt pretty bland, I wasn't at all interested in the world or characters in this game. The gameplay is where it really shines though. Combat is fun, mad amounts of loot to be collected, leveling is fun, and sooo many side quests. Awesome game, highly recommended, as long as you're not playing for the story you're gonna have a good time.

Best Buy as far as I know is the only place to get a $10 psn card and it's great not having to spend $20 when I want to buy something that's $10 or less. My only complaint is that I wish they had a option to deliver the code via email so you could get instantly like so many other sites offer.
