I had been wanting to get this game for a while and now I am glad that I did. The graphics are incredible with stunning environments and sounds. The games storyline is difficult to understand right away but as you get farther it makes sense. Swearing doesn't come around until you interact with the Marines/C.E.L.L. who swear profusely. Not really a whole lot of blood except when you get a headshot but their head remains intact. Some enemies are hard to kill so using the same strategy over and over again won't work which makes you think differently. Overall the game is Great. I will note that I do not recommend this game for kids under 15.
What's great about it: Great Graphics and environments
What's not so great: Storyline is difficult to understand
If you thought the nightmare was over, think again. The madness of isolation and the reality at hand are one and the same as engineer Isaac Clarke returns for another blood-curdling adventure in the sequel to the critically acclaimed Dead Space. The terror of being hunted by the government and haunted by a dead lover merge into a single, cohesive paralyzing emotion ~ but you have to persevere despite the creeping paranoia of dementia and the grotesquery slouching within every shadow. The Necromorphs are ripping the massive city to pieces and if you're going to survive "The Sprawl", you'll have to get desperate in order to last in Dead Space 2.Isaac Clarke isn't free of the terror of his situation, but don't worry ~ it's about to get worse. You'll have to seize opportunity by the throat if you're going to survive being hunted by the government and withstand visions of a dead girlfriend. Equip yourself with the tools to decimate and eviscerate the horrors surrounding you, like improved telekinesis, trip mines or even hull breaches to suck those things back into the dead of space where they belong. It won't be a walk in the park, though. In fact, you'll experience "The Sprawl" like never before in zero gravity with full 360~ movement, destroying creatures in new weightless combat and unique, physics-based puzzles. Don't fret, you can share the loneliness of space ~ and the Necromorphs ~ with friends online in skirmishes to see if anyone really can hear you scream in space.

This is the best they could have done on a sequel! The gameplay is amazing with updated graphics and audio to complement the scare you can only get from Dead Space. Plus if you have a save file from the first game you start the game with a Plasma Cutter. The game has alot of gore, violence and vulgarity. I found that repeatedly stomping causes Isaac to start swearing, although you really never have to stomp that much. THIS IS NOT A GAME FOR KIDS!! One of the main goals of the game is to scare you out of your skin....repeatedly. Overall this is a Really fun game to play through. BTW i bought the pre-owned game and yes it came with the original manual, case and had no scratches.
What's great about it: The new graphics and gameplay

This is a great game for fans of Third and First person shooters alike. The game is challenging to make it through in one piece plus you get the scare of a lifetime every 5 minutes. This is a VERY scary game and would like to emphasize that it is NOT for kids under 15 or 16 at the least . It is also very gory, you have to shoot off limbs and there is a lot of blood, also you see several people commit suicide and be killed by Necromorphs. Overall though i think this is a very fun and challenging game for more dedicated gamers.

This was the 4th game I bought and I'm glad I did. The game has challenging gameplay since nothing ever spawns in the same place so you cant just use the same strategy over and over again so you have to think about waht to do next. Since this is the Game of the Year edition it comes with the survival maps which are fun to play. I have no problems with the game, but when playing online people tend to be heartless and not want to help you when you get incapacitated even if they're 3 feet away from you so I would recommend you play with friends or have a mic.

I bought this game to extend my Halo collection and to also get all the Halo 3 DLC which is included on a second disc. The storyline is very in depth and easy to understand when you get farther in to it, gameplay is fun(if your favorite type of games is shooters) and challenging. Certain times I had to stop and think how to get past a level after trying and failing several times but still had a lot of fun.
What's great about it: Game-play and all Halo 3 DLC
