This device is awesome. Bought Nov. 2009 and received the Premier for 3 months free. Once you have it, you'll not want to get rid of it. For ~$10 per month you get a ton of features and since the time I purchase it, they are coming out with new add ons. They now have a bluetooth adapter to connect your cell phone so that it rings throughout your home. I'm looking forward to getting that. All in all, the online features are awesome and we love the call forwarding and voicemail alerts to email or text message. I do not have the telo handset so I cannot comment on that. Call clarity is excellent. Only bad thing that I noticed is the power cord is loose and seems to come out pretty easy on the base. To remedy the problem, I've just used a twist tie and tied the power, phone distribution, and ethernet cord together - no problems since. Going on nearly a year and I'm well past my break even point if I would have kept my home phone service through a traditional carrier. We have an 8 mb high speed internet plan and that seems to be working great with the Ooma.
What's great about it: Saves money in about 6 months or sooner if you just get basic service.
