Gears of War 2 picks up six months after the events of Gears of War. The Limited Edition includes a collectible steel book DVD case, "Beneath the Surface: An Inside Look at Gears of War 2," a 48-page hardbound book, a bonus DVD including exclusive making-of-the-game video footage, an exclusive gold-plated Lancer Assault Rifle available during online play.

So, the campaign and gameplay in the campaign is pretty much like GOW1. What I did like about this game were some of the new weapons, including the mortar gun. You could do some serious damage with that. Some of the new Locust were pretty cool to see too.
That's kind of where the positives end. The game is essentially just like GOW1. My biggest problem/gripe is that multiplayer simply does not work. I've sat with the game trying to make a connection for 30 minutes to no avail. Do your research online and find out that many, many other people are having the same problem. Hopefully I can get a game soon, because if not this game is gone.
