Thunderous bass response! That is what you notice right off with this speaker system. It is a 3 piece (2.1) set utilizing an woofer with a long throw voice-coil and tuned port to further enhance the response. Our new flat panel type satellites with dual super radiators balance the performance for a full audio spectrum response.

These are very popular speakers nationwide, but I happened to get a dud. S*** happens. Statistically, these are good, very popular speakers. I've purchased (2) model CA3550 and found them to be excellent speakers which I recommend. Under normal circumstances, I'm sure the CA3602s are good, as well.
I own and highly recommend the Logitech Z623s and Klipsch Promedia 2.1s, but they're in a different price range.
This speaker system features two 2.5" satellite speakers and a 6.5" subwoofer for brilliant audio effects and powerful bass in computer games, movies and music. The on/off, master volume and bass volume controls allow for customized use.

This is a great set of inexpensive speakers. No, they're not as good as the Logitech 623s or the Klipsch Promedia 2.1s, but they're less than half the price, and they do sound good. My one complaint is that the satellite speakers are hard-wired, which means there's no way to increase the distance between them. If you want them for your TV, 42" screens about about the maximum. And be sure that any TV you want to used them on has RCA output connections. You can buy a 3.5mm to RCA Y-adaptor for a few bucks on eBay or Amazon. Do NOT plug them into the headphone output. That's preamplified and could easily blow your speakers.
All in all, these are good speakers that I think most people will be happy with. I bought a pair for my son to use with his computer. He's happy with them.
What's great about it: Overall good sound, especially the bass.
What's not so great: Hard-wired satellites. No way to extend distance between them.
Enjoy bold sound when you listen to music, watch movies or play games with this speaker system that features 2 satellite speakers with 2.5" front-firing, sealed drivers and a 7" bass-reflex subwoofer. Integrated controls let you customize your audio.

I purchased both the 623s and the Promedia 2.1s this week. Both are good 2.1 speaker systems--the 623s are better. While both offer very good all-around sound for 2.1 units, the 623s offer noticeably better bass: stronger ,clearer, deeper. That makes sense, as the 623's amplifier produces about twice the power: 200 watts peak for the Promedias, 200 watts RMS (continuious) for the 623s.
I now own both. I'm keeping both, but the 623s offer superior sound. With Bestbuy's price matching of Amazon, you can currently get them for $99, and they're well worth that.
What's great about it: Power, deep bass.
What's not so great: Not the sexiest looking speakers.

I've been a fan of Klipsh speakers since I first discovered Klipschorns back in the '70s. They're excellent, highly efficient speakers. The Promedia 2.1 are good speakers, but they're no Klipschorns, nor should anyone expect them to be. The price I paid for mine, $99, represents only a tiny fraction of the $9000 price for a pair of Klipschorns. Klipsch manufactures sound systems for movie theatres, so they're a very knowledgeable about sound.
One glaring omission on the 2.1s is an on-off switch anywhere on the unit, at least on mine. Leaving them on all the time may consume a small amount of energy, but it's not much, and they do have a good sound. The speakers they're replacing, Altec Lansing ACS 340s, were left on pretty much all of the past 18 years, and they're still working. I also own a pair Logitech Z623s, though, also purchased for $99, and I find their sound to be superior to the Promedias. Midrange and treble are comparable, but the bass of the Z623 is definitely better than that of the Promedias: capable ot hitting lower frequncies and with more punch. They're truly in a class above. It's worth noting the the Promedias offer 200 watts of peak power, while the Legitechs offer 200 watts of RMS power, which is about twice as much.
I don't think you'll be unhappy with the Promedia's, but go with the Logitechs if you want to most bang for your buck. I'm happy with both.

The Klipsch Promedia 2.1 have no power switch anywhere on them. The only way to turn them on and off is by plugging them in and unplugging them.. Klipsch should do better than that considering their history.
Use this Klipsch ProMedia 3-piece speaker system to enjoy brilliant sound when playing games, listening to music or watching videos on your computer.

Good 2.1 speakers, but there are better.

The Klipsch Promedias do not have a power switch anywhere on them. The only way to turn them on and off is by plugging them in and unplugging them. Not what I expected of Klipsch, considering their history. And they really don't have the punchy, deep bass exhibited by the the Logitech Z623s. Promedieas offer 200 watts peak power; Logitech 623s offer about 330 watts of peak power.
