I purchased this without seeing any reviews and all I can say is WOW! This stays put on the windshield and the phone grip does not move and is padded to protect the phone so you can crank it pretty tight. The phone will not move. The arm is so stiff that at first I wasn't sure it was supposed to move, but it bends however you want it to and stays put. Has a good amount of reach as well. I highly recommend this phone mount.
Fits the Samsung Note and the iPhone 6 Plus with room to spare!

Quick release fell off
Bypaulkher
The quick release RRound-PL fell off on it's own. Could not get BestBuy to help me order another one. I contacted Manfrotto, and it took them 3 months to get back to me just to tell me to order it from one of their suppliers in USA. The supplier didn't know what the heck the item was and when he got back to me, the part was $20. Not worth it since I bought the entire tripod for $50. Going in the garbage. Never buying Manfrotto again.

The way this plate and mount is designed it would be impossible for it to fall off on its own. It must not have been seated correctly or it was not correctly locked in place.
Manfrotto is an excellent tripod, however this one is one of the lower end they distribute.
