Wasn't sure what all I expected from this band, as I only had a hand full of songs from older albums. A friend suggested this one and I can't get the songs out of my head (in a good way). It's probably going to inspire me to get more from them in the future.

Lots of unique stuff from Billy Talent. I don't really know something to compare them to. 'Pins and Needles' was one I instantly liked, while 'Surrender', 'Fallen Leaves', and many of the others have really grown on me. The songs are all good, and all have their own individually distinct sound.
What's great about it: Unique guitar and interesting vocals

Great band, but the topics are a little dark on this album. I dislike some of the direct suicide references in the lyrics, but I can't really say the songs are bad. I knew what I was getting when I ordered. Definitely take a min to listen to the clips Best Buy has, it helps a lot in deciding if the album is worth it. 'Help me' is probably still my favorite, with 'Calling all Skeletons' a close second.
What's great about it: All the songs are worth the listen.
