Excellent ereader, okay Web surfer

I wanted a tablet and an ereader, but had limited funds. This ended up being a fabulous ereader, but a clunky Web surfer. This review is for the previout model, so I have left out problems related to a dual core processor. I also sell tablets for a living and have been an Amazon Prime member for several years.
PROS: Handy and light weight for reading
Great continuity with Amazon prime
Hassle free mp3 player
Great battery life.
Sturdy
Apps from the store almost always worked well.
The advertisements were not annoying and dished out free Amazon coins.
Great customer support.
Free cloud backup
Good picture quality for watching videos.

Use this Klipsch ProMedia 3-piece speaker system to enjoy brilliant sound when playing games, listening to music or watching videos on your computer.

I use these a my primary television speakers. With the caveat that if I want to change the volume I have to get up instead of using a remote control, this is a great budget minded choice for a home theater solution. I bought these soon after switching to a flat panel. They are the best speakers I have ever owned. They have great bass and I don't even notice when the system changes from using the tweeters to the mid range speakers. I can control how loud the subwoofer and satellite speakers are using separate knobs. I found I like the subwoofer low so I can hear the bass without being overwhelmed by it.
What's great about it: Good sound, good price, simple setup
What's not so great: nothing after 6 months of use
I would recommend this to a friend!

Do you get free online books with the fire hd7?
A few. You can almost always find free books by classic authors. Some times authors provide one of their books for free. If you keep your eyes on the deal of the day and monthly deals you can find popular books for a buck or two. Amazon ended the free lending library and replaced it with the 10 buck a month unlimited library plan.
