Stick with the factory supplied hose

I "upgraded" to these hoses when I purchased a new machine (a top of the line LG). A few weeks after installation, we noticed water damage in the ceiling two floors below the washiing machine caused by a slow leak from the washer. We replaced one of these hoses and the leak stopped. We weren't sure it was from the hose, but a few months later, we had another slow leak from the machine from the other hose. Do not upgrade to this hose. It will end up costing you more than the purchase price.
