Great slicer for home use

This was the third slicer for home use we purchased and had to return the other two brands due to inadequacies.
This Waring Pro - Professional Food Slicer is a Keeper!
The slicer is very easy to set up, easy to clean, has a nice range for slice thickness and the motor hums fast and consistent. It is a nice size and attractive. Parts seem strong. Overall, and so far, very reliable slicer. My only complaint is the cord is short, but of course that may be a safety precaution, and its a simple fix, so not really an issue. I only gave Durability 4 stars because a couple parts are plastic, but really, this unit seems quite durable and I don't see any future issues.
We love the slicer and plan on using it quite a bit. Most frequent use will be for even slices needed for dehydrating fruits and vegetables, and for deli meats and cheese.
If you buy this slicer, I'm sure you will be happy with it for home use.
What's great about it: great price, easy to use, ease of cleaning
What's not so great: short cord
I would recommend this to a friend!
