I got this to split my single subwoofer cable to the left/right inputs.
It works. I can't really comment on quality since the subwoofer is a piece of junk.

3 times more expensive than same quality/length extension cable.
Really!!! The only difference is this has 2 male plugs, while extension has one male/one female.
The only reason I paid through the nose is I was on the road and HAD to have it.

what does this product do?
can i use this to connect it to my tv and use the other female end of this product as a reciever to my headphones? so basically what i am saying is, would this act as an adaptor so i could use my headphones on my tv? my tv has no headphone jack.
most likely no.
if your tv has RCA audio outputs, they are most likely line-level output so they need some amplification. Also, your tv volume would not control them like a headphone jack.
you would need to connect from tv to amplifier or receiver, then plug your headphones into amplifier.
