Although its hard to place this movie in the continuity of DBZ, it's still an enjoyable film. Its kinda bothersome to know there are other saiyans out there (since I thought they all were to have died except Vegeta, Nappa, Raditz and Goku), but the idea of a Legendary Super Saiyan out there kinda intrigued me (though I'm not sure how much sense it makes that he never got past level 1)
Thankfully, in DBZ fashion, this movie has a lot of action in it. It's nice to see the DBZ gang get manhandled like they are nothing, but Vegeta seems to come off more as a sissy, mainly because he's more aware of what the Super Saiyan can do than anyone. But that never stopped him before, so it was a little out of place.
The ending was terrible though. It seemed that they just pulled something out to end it with. Someone explained to me how Brolly is defeated (Goku hit the spot he was stabbed as a baby apparently) which made him more vulnerable, but it didn't make it any easier to accept. Also the idea that the whole planet looked to explode, but everyone seemed to get off without a problem. That bothered me too.
Overall though, it was a good movie, and if you're a DBZ fan you'll enjoy this movie.
What's great about it: Brolly, fighting, light-heartedness in areas
What's not so great: Ending

Easily, one of the best live albums I have ever heard. Fans of Iced Earth, or fans trying to get into Iced Earth, should definately give this album a try because it completely blew me away. The two-disc has a wide variety of songs from their catalogue (up to the Something Wicked This Way Comes) and it's done wonderfully. The songs are near perfect in terms of how close they resemble the album versions, which is great since many bands seem to tweek live performances enough to make you hate it.
So if you're a metal fan and you love the fast, in your face, leave it all on the stage performances, this is an album you want to have for your collection. It won't let you down.
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: Only got the 2-disc

Must Try

This game is easily one of the funnest games I've ever played. It's fast paced, tons of moves, great graphics, and characters that's impossible to hate. This is a pretty long game with 20 levels, different difficulties, and after a first runthrough some unlockables to test yourself out some more.
The only problem I have with this game is the repetitiveness. About halfway through, you change characters, and seem to go backwards to the beginning. This means you fight the exact same bosses, but due to it being a different character, you have different methods to beat them. I would have much preferred different bosses on the second half of the game.
What's great about it: Pretty much everything
What's not so great: Repetitive

I'm going to cut to the chase. Do not purchase this game. Let some other poor sap (like moi) purchase this game so you can try it out at their house. Really, it's quite a sad attempt at Wii Play/Sports.
There are 7 mini games on this Game Party game, and most of them are not very much fun or good. You have air hockey, skiball, darts, trivia, hoop shot, tossing balls in cups, and shuffleboard. I know you're asking yourself, "How could you possibly go wrong with a selection like that!?" Well, here's how they did it.
Air Hockey is a erratic game of hitting a puck with an arm that can't stay under control. Even when you think you have figured out exactly how to move, you do something and realize you're completely wrong. This game is no fun at all, and trying to figure out how to move your arm up and down and stretch it out to hit the puck is confusing and irritating.
Skiball is another game that I enjoy in real life, but not on the wii. Using the same movements as wii bowling, you roll this ball and try to get it into 1 of 6 (or 7?) holes. Too bad it's nearly impossible to get a good score in this game and it's not as fun as bowling.
Hoop Shot. Pretty self explanatory. You shoot a ball in a hoop, and your movements with the wiimote is the same. Pretty simple game, and pretty easy to master. It's just no fun when you hit almost every shot the first time playing this game.
Cup ball (which is what I'm calling it since I can't remember the actual name) is also another boring game they decided to throw on here. It's like that drinking game where you bounce a ball into a cup and it has to be drank. It's a pain getting the ball in the cup, and the only way to have fun playing this game is to actually be drunk while playing.
Darts is a fun game actually, despite being bundled with some terrible games. If you like darts in real life, you'll enjoy this game. The only problem I have with this is sometimes it gets a little frustrating trying to hit certain spots and it always hitting everything around it. Makes you want to throw the wii-mote like a dart through the tv.
Shuffleboard, having not played it before, took me by surprise. It was definately the most competitive game on this disc, and surprisingly fun. It's a blast trying to get the farthest you can without going over and trying to knock off other people's discs. Definately the best game on here.
Trivia is kinda so-so. Not bad, but not great. You get asked questions in some topics like music, movies/tv, geography, etc. Nothing new or mindblowing, but something to pass the time.
OTHER THINGS THAT TICKED ME OFF: The multiplayer wasn't available in every game. The only ones with multiplayer were air hockey (2 players), Trivia (up to 4) and Shuffleboard (up to 4) and cup ball (2 players). One thing I like in games is being able to use my mii, which I can't do in this game, unless it's one of the unlockables which I haven't done yet.
In other words, you might have fun with a couple games, but it's not as great of a party as they make it out to be. Keep away...far far away!
What's great about it: Multiplayer (somewhat), 3 of the 7 games
What's not so great: Everything Else

Doesn't Beat Down

Dragonforce is a band that once you listen to one song, you kind of got the idea of what the rest of the discography will sound like. The same applies to this album. Unfortunately, despite the name, I didn't feel like I was brutalized by this album enough.
First off, this album is Dragonforce. There is no mistaking it. It's fast, the higher-pitched vocals, the lyrics, and the video game-ish sound at times reinforce that idea. The problems with this album is that it just isn't catchy. With former songs like "Through the Fire and the Flames" and "My Spirit Will Go On", I was hoping for something equally as catchy and was sorely disappointed. The playing is great, don't get me wrong, but there's nothing that grabs me that makes me want to listen to it again.
To make it worse, the songs are incredibly long. On the regular disk, 2 out of 8 songs are under 7 minutes, but those are 5-7 min also. The special edition has a few extra songs on it (2 I believe), and that is where I found the only song I truly enjoyed and listen to over and over again with "Strike of the Ninja", which is, in my opinion, the only catchy song on the album.
So if you're a Dragonforce fan, than you might want to give it a listen, but if you're new to the power metal scene you will definately want to check out one of the previous albums first.
What's great about it: Fast playing, good vocals, pure Dragonforce
What's not so great: Not catchy, long songs
