Gorgeous Looking Steelbook

I already own previous versions of this film and bought this steelbook for the packaging, so this review will be about that.
The steelbook packaging that I purchased at Best Buy is actually a re-release of the exact packaging sold in the UK 2 years ago. This was very good news for steelbook collectors who didn't want to spend extra money by importing, or who have missed out on that release.

Fun Revenge Film

The Equalizer is a fun revenge film, but it's much more satisfying than many of its kind considering its exceptional character development below the obvious good-and-evil surface.

Great mini-statues

I purchase Disney Infinity figures and playsets as action figures, not for gaming. So this review is limited to how they look aesthetically. These figures look great on a shelf along with the rest of the Disney Infinity Star Wars characters. They are well-made, sturdy, nicely painted.

Kevin Costner sports movies are always good

Kevin Costner delivers one of his best roles in this true story about a high school football coach fired from a previous job and taking on a position in a school in California in one of its smallest towns populated by Mexican Americans.

Good action sequences, watch for eye-candy

I purchased this to complete my Resident Evil movie collection. It was on sale for really cheap (less than $9) and considering it was 3D, I feel it was a good buy.
Don't go into this movie expecting really good plot. It has nothing of the sort. Resident Evil films have gone downhill since the first one. Just watch this for the action sequences and special effects.

The Finest Hours is a rock-solid motion picture, a simple, classically styled story of the human spirit against the odds. As far as the product itself goes, it's on par with the other Disney releases in terms of packaging and presentation.

Star-studded cast of a movie

Robert Redford, Sidney Pointer, Dan Aykroyd, River Phoenix, David Straithairn, Ben Kingsley etc. It's an espionage movie laced with some intelligent humor.

A better Steve Jobs story than the first one

This is a film worth owning. It doesn't just show the Steve Jobs who we all know can command attention whenever he steps onto a stage. It also tells of his story when he's not on it -- about his somewhat self-destructive passion for success. Michael Fassbender's performance is in a league of its own (so much better than the other actor who portrayed Steve Jobs a few years ago).

Rise of Hip Hop as told in a human interest story

The film tells a raw and honest human interest story about a rise to success through creative genius. It's not really about the origins of hip hop music itself, but about the life experiences of the artists and how those experiences have influenced their music.
