We ordered the Ooma one month ago. So far the only problems we've had were due to issues with our internet provider (AT&T Uverse user). There were a few times where it lost connection. We had to change our internet subscription at the same time as adding Ooma and it was AT&T's issue not Ooma. Most of the time we have a very clear connection though every once in awhile (1 time per week or so) you can hear a little glitch while you're talking on the phone. Our recent phone bill with Oooma was $3.73, so this is pretty cheap for local and long distance calling. So far, we like it pretty well for our family. The initial price of the unit will be recovered in 4 months of what we had been paying for phone service overall.
What's great about it: Low monthly price for phone service
What's not so great: Every once in a while you can tell its an internet phone.
