There's no doubt that Afro Samurai has a cool and simple concept and a very bloody style. In this future world of feudal Japan nothing seems to matter but two headbands that represent the two best fighters. To get to the number one fighter you must go through the number two and to get to the number two you must go trough everyone else. This way of life that nobody should have to live especially a child who has nothing but the headbands and revenge on his mind. As a child Afro saw his father who was the number one fighter at the time get massacred by a man named Justice. After the fight is over Justice takes the number one headband off of the head of Afro's father, which was not too far away from his body. Justice tells Afro something similar to what Uma Thurman said to Vivica A. Fox's daughter in Kill Bill, that if he wanted revenge he would fight him when he came for him. Loved the Action sequences between Afro and Gino, the animation was fluid and on par with anything else out there currently, definitely recommend to anyone who loves Anime.

As a translation from the comic to film this movie could not have been done better. It was truly brilliant. It has a steep learning curve for those who haven't read the novel, and this may be too much to overcome. But if you are a fan of Moore's dark masterpiece, this film is nearly perfect. Characters are very well developed, great special affects, fascinating story, Overall Great Representation of the Graphic Novel, Loved It!

The first thing I should say, since Guardians of the Galaxy is not one of the better known Marvel comics, is that you don't need to have read the comics to enjoy or understand the movie. The story starts you from zero, introducing the characters with their own individual backgrounds and personalities. In some ways you may actually be better off not having read the comics as some details about the characters have been changed, both to make for a smoother, more coherent story line, and to make it fit into the broader story line laid out in the other recent Marvel films (The Avengers, Iron Man, Thor, etc) that have come before. A couple of characters from The Avengers story line make appearances here, tying the two together, but most of the characters in Guardians of the Galaxy will be completely new to movie-goers. Overall, this is what Star Wars used to be, hands down Best Movie in the MCU Roster to date, Love It!

While Iron Man 2 may not be perfect, it is a very solid and fun sequel. Improvements include better action sequences and some great characters added to the franchise. Unfortunately there is a lot going on here and even though it isn't hard to follow, there isn't enough time to give each sub plot the proper screen time it deserves. Oddly enough for a super hero film, I think they could have edited some of the talky scenes down and added a little more Iron Man action. Loved the way they introduced Black Widow, maintained the action as well as some humor, overall great film.

The movie itself moved at a very good pace. Mixing action, comedy and some drama to just about the right proportions. As with most superhero movies, its rather predictable, but in all the right ways you'd want a superhero movie to be. The animation used was almost seamless, and of course the Iron Man costume was Super Awesome, by far one of the Greatest Marvel movies to date, helped create the Marvel Cinematic Universe that we are currently enjoying, this movie deserves all the merits. Great Roller coaster ride, Love It!

Captain America: The First Avenger is a great film by its own merits. Showing the good old retro style and production design, since this film is directed by Joe Johnson who is capable of portraying the old times perfectly. Chris Evans did a great job as Captain America. Some of the action scenes are disappointingly unexciting but at least the CGI effects are eye candy. The movie ends with true patriotic heroism and full of heart. Definitely not new but it's still enjoyable.

In my personal opinion, both the book and the film are much deeper and much more ambitious, than what most critics and reviewers would make us believe. After reading the reviews in "New York Times", "Le Monde" and on "Msn.com" (to cite only few) I was surprised that they mostly missed everything that is important in this film. With a kind of amused superiority, which people from Capitol in this movie would immediately recognize, the "professional" reviewers pointed at the obvious allusions to gladiator fights, the reality shows, the importance of trashy entertainment in today's TV, the search for a new franchise able to replace "Twilight", etc., etc.
But they almost entirely failed to see, that this film is first and above all about much more important things: how to keep hope, not lose the courage and preserve humanity and dignity under a totalitarian oppressive regime. Overall a great representation of what a totalitarian Government is capable of, Great Film!

The Film far exceeds anything that could have prepared me for Catching Fire; it was, quite simply, an astonishment on every level. It is so much more than just an action movie; it is also a thought-provoking look at hope, revolution, rebellion, and the importance of government. It's themes encompass grand ideas and touchy subjects with utter fearlessness. Downside is, very politically driven, but overall gets the point across pretty well.

This movie was simply perfect. It follows the Godzilla format perfectly while telling a unique and original Godzilla story. Many staples from the Godzilla franchise are all over this movie and plenty of fan service for the old school crowd. The director really captured the heart and soul of the Godzilla franchise. I get the idea that a lot of the hate you hear for this movie is coming from people who aren't old school Godzilla fans.

Comparing "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" to "The Wolverine" is like comparing apples to oranges. They are both about Marvel's burly and animalistic Wolverine, but they could not be any more different. Origins seemed to explore a bit of Wolvie's past under the framework of the prior X-Men movies (i.e. familiar characters, settings, and themes), but unfortunately it didn't hit home like the prior X-Men films. The writing fell flat, because 20th Century Fox took odd twists and turns with fan favorites like Gambit and Deadpool and then never expanded on them in future films like they promised. Instead of bridging Wolverine's backstory to the acclaimed X-Men trilogy, Fox ended up widening the gap
