Having the requirement of the cooktop having a downdraft adds a considerable amount to the price, but this cooktop delivers. It is very well made and is easy to clean and maintain. Having all the grates on the same level makes it easy to move pots around during cooking. I think this cooktop will be serving me well for the 20+ years. Excellent choice.

Hello DonH, I'm interested in purchasing this item but, there aren't many reviews for it on the internet. Since you had this product for a few months, can I get your honest opinion about it ? How do you rate the functionality of the design ? I'd like to know, when the exhaust fan is on, does the flame get pulled/sucked towards it ? I'd truly appreciate your input in this matter. Thanks !
