My Opinion -- this movie should have been written either as a pure Sandy Bullock style Rom/Com or a no prisoners taken Black Comedy and it likely would have worked better.
The actors seem to work pretty well together and JA rarely ever has looked better, but I think it should have become a 2010 version of "War of the Roses." Vince V just never seems to gather much steam and ends up pretty much where he started by the end of the film.

Growing up with the classic Godzilla movies on Saturday matinees remains a wonderful memory. The recent releases of the early Godzilla movies on Bluray has been a revelation of the original Social commentary of the early Nuclear Age. Unfortunately at some point Godzilla became more and more camp to the point of self parody. Kong is great, Godzilla is great, but these guys should not have been put together.

I thought I had seen most variations of time travel plots over the past 40 years, but this movie made an impression in 2000 and it holds up very well more than a dozen years later.
An excellent performance from Dennis Quaid and a very young Michael Cera.
I wish they had the opportunity to update the transfer to match the film, but I'm sure that amount of money just isn't feasible for a smaller catalog film like this. Maybe someday the technology will allow someone to completely revisit this and do a full re-vamp. Still, this 1080p version is a substantial improvement on any previous home version.

A superb sendup of superspy villains. I didn't know what to expect when this started playing, but about 10 minutes into it I knew I was hooked and it was a wonderful ride for the next hour and a half.
The minions are cute, but the little girls are something special to melt even a wannabe Blofeld's evil little heart.
I expect Disney to be good, I expect Pixar to be off the scale great, but I really wasn't expecting this to be as much fun as it was. Kung Fu Panda caught me by surprise in much the same way and I'll take either over most of the Shrek universe.

Burton and Elfman Masterpiece

I saw this in the theater originally when I was was a young adult and immediately knew I had witnessed something new and wonderful -- I just wasn't sure exactly what it was, but I knew it was fantastic.
Kidnapping Santa -- really now?
Jack Skellington is true genius. The marriage of this somewhat unique idea with Tim Burtons' wonderfully warped mind, a reinvention of stop motion photography and Danny Elfman nearing his peak output all combine to produce one of the finest pieces of animation I've witnessed.

This ain't your mother's Disney that's for sure and we're all better for it.
This Bluray presentation is close to perfection as well. With a visual and audio style that greatly benefits from a High Definition medium, this disc is a wonderful experience and makes a great way to show off your new toys if you're so inclined.

I love Dexter. I mean I really love Dexter and pretty much everything that this series has done. S1 and 2 were superb, though many people dismissed S3 as a stumble I can't say I agree completely, but S4 is the Pinnacle before the slide.
Lithgow makes such a great villain in general and here he exudes pure evil all the way to the finish.
Dexter and Rita and baby makes three in one of the most unusual families in recent TV memory. The supporting cast led of course by the mouthy Ms Carpenter/Hall/Carpenter makes this one of the funniest shows that has no real reason to ever justify a laugh, but somehow the writers and actors pull that off too.
The bluray is more than adequate though it won;t make a demo disc like some of the better movie discs. Like Pavlov's dogs however, as soon as the theme song starts playing and I hear the frying pan sizzle, I know it's time to drop everything.

Use this Klipsch ProMedia 3-piece speaker system to enjoy brilliant sound when playing games, listening to music or watching videos on your computer.

I've had these speakers for a dozen year and 4 computer systems now and have never found anything under $250 that could remotely touch them. As long as you aren't trying to run a rock concert from a set top speaker bundle, I'm not sure what type of music wouldn;t benefit. Excellent midrange and treble clarity for vocals, pretty good bass from the separate module -- classical, jazz, vocal, country, and rock all sound great from mp3 to full CD quality.
I don't need surround from my computer so 2.0 or 2.1 is more than adequate, but none of the the typical mass market computer speakers were able to deliver anything better than a mushy mess. These Klipsch will be better than anything short of the best computer quality Swans and Audioengine level which cost 3X what these do now.
The only real audio downside is if you want to run these at 90+% volume and then they will balk. The biggest issue with this set has always been it's wiring -- it's non standard and a bit fragile. I've completely replace the control module once (approx $30) due to the thin wires breaking inside and the somewhat unstable DIN plug that runs to the subwoofer. Since it's proprietary it is going to be an issue unless you get your soldering iron out and become your own engineer.

Very good wireless mouse

I do love my old Logitech corded mice -- simple and responsive. I've always had glitches with most wireless mice in general -- jumpy response, difficult to put it in the right spot and keep it there, but the 510 has become my go to mouse since it's nearly impossible to find a decent wired mouse anymore. The 510 is the first wireless that I've had any longterm success using. It's big enough and properly shaped for my hand so I don't end up with cramping after a hour of use. So far the current mouse is about 2 years old and is working on its first set of batteries.

Really no much to saw about ink in general. This is black ink at it's finest however. For inkjet printers I'm a believer in Epson quality from their mid/upper range Workforce printers. After 2 decades wedded to HP printers, I switched to Epson and was astounded at the difference in quality of color and near laser quality black prints.
Initially the smaller ink cartridges get to be a hassle, but since Epson now has XL and XXL cartridges that issue isn't a problem anymore and the quality of true Epson ink is remarkable -- dries immediately, no smearing, and looks black and not mushy grey.
I've used refilled cartridges from Costco which aren't bad for non- OEM, but even it pales side by side with the true ink. Ebay replacements (dye or pigment based) are even worse and ruined two printer heads with clogs.
These are costly, but for me it's worth the extra since I only go through less than 2 black sets yearly and probably a single color series.
