I got this as a security item for my home so when my wife drives up to the house at night the house lights up. This product works great and is very easy to set up. I plan on adding additional lights soon.

Best product for the money

Very satisfied with this alarm system, I did a lot of research and decided on the Viper systems. Only a couple of hundred dollars gives me great protection over the entire car, windows up or down, and also the trunk area. This model has fewer options/functions since I have an older Honda with a manual transmission, all other models offer some pretty awesome features. I will definitely use this brand for my newer cars.

Smart addition to your alarm system

Great additional insurance for a small price. I have not jacked my car up to test it, but my friend who works in the best buy install dept says its a must. I was worried that the slope of my driveway may set it off but that was not the case. It's well worth the investment.

great coverage for the money

I like the intensity of the blue light on the dash, you can see it from a pretty good distance from the car. I fumbled with the valet function and did something wrong so the alarm went off, she wouldn't start, and only when I remembered the correct steps to disarm it did the alarm stop. I have an older Honda civic with manual transmission so I couldn't get the super tricked out version of the Viper system, but I am very pleased so far.
