The code had already been redeemed when it was sitting in my husbands Christmas stocking not even scratched yet. I contacted Best Buy and they told me to contact Sony. I contacted Sony and they basically told me I was lying because I was "the only one who had access to it". Sony said someone else redeemed it 3 days before Christmas when the card was still in his stocking. They refused to do anything about the people stealing even though they knew exactly who redeemed it. I contacted Best Buy again and they refunded the money but they treated me like I was lying. They said it was a one time only refund. If you buy a gift card make sure you redeem it right when you get it to avoid losing your money cause apparently Best Buy and Sony don't care.

For some reason my son was unable to redeem these. We haven't followed up with Sony yet, but that's our next stop.

I had the same problem when I bought the $50 PlayStation Network card for my husband for Christmas. I contacted Sony and they basically told me I was lying because I was "the only one who had access to it". Sony said someone else redeemed it 3 days before Christmas when the card was still in his Christmas stocking.
