I previously bought the Sony MDR-1000X. Those had awesome sound and tremendous features like personalized NC. Hit a button and it will figure out if you are wearing glasses and will up the NC to compensate for the gap with the glasses. It was kind of uncomfortable for me, I had to take them on and off due to pressure. The Bose QC35 has none of this uncomfortable feelings, I can wear all day without feeling like my head is clamped ever. The Sonys were heavy feeling, these Bose light feeling. If I were a new buyer I would really figure out how sensitive you are to a headphone being on your head for a long period. If you have no issues get the Sony, better sound and NC but a little bit. If you value extreme comfort get the Bose. I returned the Sony and Got the Bose.

Everything is true about the sound. Its is extremely wide sounding with a laid back rich kind of bass. The bass is not heavy like Beats at all. The open back helps to create a big sound stage. The only thing I don't like are the cushions. Harsher feeling that I thought it was going to be.
Well worth the sale price, no other wired headphone can touch the price.

Light on Bass, Big on Natural Sound. Sounds a bit like the Bose QC35 but a not quite as good. Of course its a lot cheaper than the Bose. These are for Jazz, vocals and not the best for hip hop. Has that laid back JBL sound for the grown up crowd. The soundstage is decent for closed backs headphones.

If you buy the S2 8.0 from Best Buy check the specs on the back of the box. If its says " 1.8 GHz + 1.4 GHz Core Processor" it is really just a 2016 S3 that is coming out in July. I just got one and did a search and mine has the specs and operating system of the S3 which runs Android 6.0. The S2 should be running Android 5.0. I think Samsung just branded these remaing S2 with S3 parts and OS system.

I had a 4.5 phone, kind of small. Looking to upgrade without breaking the bank. Saw the 100-200 dollars ones. Not bad, nothing to write home about. Than saw the Moto X Pure, 1st test brightness and screen. Its very impressive. At home there is no need to set it past half bright. This phone can challenge most tablets for a bright and vivid screen. Its why I got it really, ideal for multimedia. I see it as good as any phone 200-250 dollars more. The speakers are loud, you can go for a walk and just turn it up and no need for headphones. Its a pleasure to own this, I consider it a tiny tablet.

Got it on sale for 89 bucks. Liked that it has Canada Maps at a cheaper price than the others. However due to its small 4.3 screen I can only recommend this for the occasional light GPS user. I am pretty nearsighted and its just a bit too small in screen size for me but I don't want to spend 100-150 or more for a bigger screen that has a Canada map built in. So I just drive a little slower and just pay more attention to the voice prompts.

I only really purchased this for viewing photos or videos online. For 1k, its just not that much more than other laptops with lower resolution screens. I was at first leery of the keyboard as its smaller but after about 15 mins or so I got comfortable with it. The screen is the best feature, so bright, crisp, makes photos and images look better than real life. As for 4k, my internet at home is rather slow and can't really take advantage of this feature but at least I think I am future proofed this way by having 4k ready.
In the store this laptop will look less impressive as its really kind of abused, people with dirty hands touch it daily and pick it up and let it down without much care. Once you open yours at home its really more impressive than store ones.

At first I was a bit let down because I did not adjust it to my likings in the compunter's audio manager. After fine tuning it this speaker is excellent. So crisp with nice treble and not excessive bass like so many of the newer computer speakers. Its like those old style Panasonic Platinum boombox sound- clear, clear highs and mids and so good for vocals. I grabbed this on a whim because of the reviews here and amazon and they are all correct. Bravo Klipsch.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

At first I was let down by the sound until the speakers and subwoofer broker in with a few hours of use. Out of the box, give the sound system some time to break in.

If you are buying this for regular use (basic programs, MS Office, movies), it will serve your purpose - however you could get along with a medium end display.
If you are buying it only for the 4K Ultra HD display, be warned - though the display is stunning, however:
1) The sound is somewhat weak - I can barely watch a movie with the volume turned on max, because my AC (admittedly moderately noisy) drowns it out. Also cant handle bass tones too well, tends to break up
2) Not the laptop's fault, but I found most games today are not optimized to display resolutions above 1920x1080. Trying to run a game with your desktop resolution set at 4K HD, will lead to a tiny game display. The only way to correct this is to set your desktop to 1920x1080 or lower. Which defeats the whole point
(Tested on Alien Isolation, Arkham Asylum, Bioshock Infinite, Far Cry 3, Tomb Raider 2014)
3) The Graphics card is not meant to handle most game settings over Medium or at best High. No hope for maxing out settings.
Pros:
a) Really lightweight for its configurations
b) The keyboard is just the right size, there is enough room to rest your wrists on the laptop body while typing (felt weird at first but you get used to it quick)
c) Backlit keyboard is very convenient

Cons:
a) The 12 GB RAM doesn't show any observable performance improvement over my 3 year old Vaio with 8 GB RAM (both Intel i5). Youtube analytics sites still hang on Firefox. The screen is pretty responsive though.
b) 4K resolution needs more juice before it gets mainstream

The speed of this laptop is subpar. I did a review on this weeks ago and now think the cpu is a bit slow versus even my Samsung tablets. The chip is dual core, does not match with the great 4k display

Running 4k video is hard for this machine.....the video pauses every few seconds...possibly the cache is to small? but if this is what you want the machine for then look elsewhere....in store demo performance was put down to poor internet connection etc etc

I too was let down by the 4k video response from this laptop. I no longer even try with 4k videos. I just now use it for the awesome display and view top notch photos.

I bought this tablet yesterday and after charging it used it to download some apps. It was hot so I let it cool down. All I did was go on Facebook and it was too hot to even touch. This heat comes from the upper right area of the tablet on the backside. I went back to Best Buy and exchanged it hoping it was just mine. The new one did the exact same thing. Taking it back. This is the newer model which has a faster processor than the S2 8.0 710. Not sure if that is the problem but I cannot even hold it, it gets too hot.

Nice specs. Lots of good features. Excellent build quality. Fast charging. The only real issue I have with the phone is that the battery life is pretty poor. Turning down the screen brightness will help, but it may be a deal breaker for some. Would have been a perfect phone, especially at the price if it improved the battery and had a fingerprint scanner, but overall still an excellent deal.

Thats the one bad thing about this phone, the battery performance is to me kind of terrible. I have to tune the screen to pretty much nothing brightness to make it thru the day.

The Sony MDR-1000X headset is a very good headset, worthy of competing with Bose's QC35. It sounds great, can be worn comfortably for hours (even when wearing glasses), and stows neatly in its included carry case. Build quality is above average.
Unfortunately, Sony's attention to the controls is lacking. While the touchpad on the right earcup is nifty, and provides access to key features (Quick Attention, especially), it can be frustrating to use regularly, especially for large changes. Additionally, managing devices/pairing is a bear, with 95% of the process relying on the media device. To switch devices, you must physically interact with the intended device, a far cry from the easy toggle and headset management app provided by Bose. Sony has also hard-coded the headset's device name, making it difficult to determine which specific Sony headset is the intended device to be paired without isolating it.
Also of note is the poor battery indicators. The only indicator given for non-iOS devices is on the headset itself. No audio warning is given, save for the prompt immediately before shutoff. This is immensely frustrating, especially since the headset cannot be used while charging.
Overall, I would probably recommend/buy again. The majority of my issues could potentially be fixed, if Sony decides to develop a new app and/or issue software/firmware updates. However, if you intend to use noise cancelling (ANC) all the time, I would strongly recommend you consider the Bose QC35 as well.

For the price there are better headphones. Don't get me wrong these are great in terms of sound but not really comfortable. I felt so much pressure on my ears after an hour of using it. It's noise canceling is pretty good as well. I ended up returning it because it wasn't comfortable to wear. I've heard the bose ones are better in that respect.

I did not find the Sony comfortable at all, only good for 30-45 minutes than you felt it. I exchanged it for the Bose. I found the Sound to be great, maybe next time Sony.
